Banshee has a re-watchability problem
The sex scenes are excessive, and the Hood-Carrie flashbacks keep repeating emotional info we already understand. The core show still holds up because the action and the criminal ecosystem around Banshee are strong enough to carry it. But on a rewatch, especially when you're past your young, single years, you become very aware of how much of it feels like filler.

I find the show very rewatchable. Can never get bored of good action and hot women. You pick up a few things that you forgot.

I don't get this. For a show that has alot of "popcorn action", Banshee does a pretty good job of building on it's lore even when the main story isn't being actively progressed. Being a huge fan aside, I'm struggling to think of anything that came off as fille. And I've rewatched at least 5-6 times.
When the show isn't advancing the plot, it detours to explore, wrap up, or introduce a character or subplot. And it all gets wrapped up by the end as well. It's not the perfect show by any means, and the sex can be alot at times but I guess I'm just not seeing what you mean about the filler and story.

How many times do you need to be told Hood and Carrie loved each other intensely? I mean, the point was made already from ep 1.

Oh, I don't know. Why would I want a show to take one of it's main key plot points and expound upon it throughout it's narrative? You're actually complaining that the show is telling the story that it presented to us? Do you not think that Hood and Anna's intense and complicated relationship is part of the main plot? You thought the show was about the diamonds or something?

Not for me but to each their own. Different horses for different courses. Different strokes for different folks. De gustibus non disputandum est.

Doesn't for me. Its my most rewatched series by a long shot. I find the unicorn episode the hardest to get through on repeated watches, otherwise it's fine from my pov.
