Icefields Pkwy - November

I’ve got a business trip November 10. I’ll need to drive from Calgary to Edmonton. I’ve done this drive on HWY 2 many times, and I’d like to take a long way along Icefields Pkwy. I drive the Coquihalla often and can confidently drive mountain passes.

That aside, I do know Icefields is a whole different beast. Is it a ridiculous idea to make that drive in November, or is it reasonable assuming Alberta 511 indicates it’s clear to packed snow? I would be hitting the road around 6am in Calgary.

So sad to leave. Bringing home these photos and memories will never do the trip justice. Thank you, AB.
