The gekiso score bonuses you can get are MAD high, so far I've seen people only running full SSR teams or whatever has the highest performance, but if you take a minute (or just scroll to the bottom of the auto formation menu) to make sure your member and snapshot gekiso skills align with the song's gekiso type (Combo/Luck/Just) then you can absolutely steamroll lobbies!

Sorry for low quality 😔

Well... Came across some Palverse blindboxes in a local cardshop after going there to destress after a uni test. I got Umiri for Ave Mujica a few months back - pure coincidence but as a fellow bass player that was quite a lucky match. Saw some MyGo boxes this time round and couldn't resist... Well... I just knew it. The first had to be Taki chan. Complementary to Umiri (Timoris)... Even without doing any shenanigans like shaking the boxes to detect difference in rattle and doing eyeballing weighting it just had to be Taki in the first pull 😂

I'll be leaving the second blind box for Friday evening as a small treat for reaching the end of the week. Got two only.

Dunno about you but I just found the whole situation quite hilarious - coincidence or "just had to be so"... Dunno 😅

since they are both energetic

I came back to BanG Dream recently as I got more time to play rhythm games again. I've played my fair share of mobile rhythm games (Proseka, Deemo, Kalpa, Arcaea,...) and just rythm game in general but honestly, I'm surprised by the amount of effort put into the music.

Initially, I didn't pay much attention to the bands themselves. The characters are cute and the UI is really pretty. I played the game, enjoyed some of the covers, found a few original songs I liked, and that's about it. But recently I got curious and listened to more of the original music. And the more I listened, the more I started appreciating the bands and the franchise as a whole.

Of course, the game is published by Bushiroad, one of the biggest Japanese entertainment company, and the franchise has always had a strong focus on promoting its bands as "real" musical groups. There's an obvious commercial incentive behind it ( especially MyGo!!! ). But even knowing that, I was genuinely surprised by how much care and passion seem to go into the music. What really surprised me is how much effort goes into giving each band its own musical identity. It's not just pretty PNGs that rake in all your money. It's pretty PNGs with absolute bangers that rake in all your money.

As someone who enjoys J-rock, I genuinely didn't expect some of these songs to go as hard as they do. You can really feel that the composers really went all out on some songs. They have surprisingly elaborate instrumentals and satisfying builds and climaxes. And the raw energy... *me playing Fire Bird with the volume cranked up to the maximum*.

I have like a three hours Spotify playlist and I think I've genuinely only been listening to these songs for the past two weeks.

Some of my favourites:

* Y.O.L.O!!!! — Afterglow

* Scarlet Sky — Afterglow

* That Is How I Rock — Afterglow

* Alter Ego — Ave Mujica

* Glee! Glee! Glee! — Glitter Green

* ONENESS — Roselia

* FIRE BIRD — Roselia

* Sunlit Musical — Roselia

* Daylight — Morfonica

* Kokyū — MyGO!!!!!

* Silhouette Dance — MyGO!!!!!

* Melody — MyGO!!!!!

* Initial — Poppin'Party

* Kizuna Music — Poppin'Party

* Tokimeki Experience! — Poppin'Party

* HELL! or HELL? — RAISE A SUILEN

Might as well start looking into the anime.

Also my favourite character is Mashiro.

Tldr: here is a token of appreciation for this game. The songs are fire 🔥

It was my last pull of 6! Senpai noticed me
