Rewatching, Apollo seems like the one who guides us. Such a great scene and when he and Kara pull back in sync with the music.. sends chill. I look at the cover of my DVD and it is them.. Is Lee an Angel and when audience is conflicted with a certain trial he brings us back to the plot?

Don't know if anyone has posted this but Battlestar Galactica is now on Pluto TV for free. You have a 24/7 dedicated channel or on demand. Maybe in time they will add Caprica and Razor.

Both with shooting missiles.

I know the landram is out there, but, I've never seen one, and I doubt I'll ever have the chance to get one. I'm still very happy!

For context, I've been going through it the last 2 - 3 years, mostly with my health and related issues.

When I've been down, I've ordered Cameo-like videos from Aaron's website, probably 4 or 5 during that period, so he has kind of followed the journey with me.

Prior to Baltimore last month, I last saw him at a convention in 2018.

I've been watching Battlestar with my 92 year old grandma, Shirley, over the past few months. Every time I visit, I do an episode countdown selfie.

Last time, we stopped after the episode, Sacrifice...45 episodes to go!

I told Aaron this and showed him our most recent selfie and he spontaneously made this video with my phone.

He, Grace, and Katee were all amazing and a lot of fun in Baltimore, but Aaron made it an extra special experience for me!

Sackoff (Starbuck) watching BSG for the first time! And it’s soooo good! I ended up joining her Patreon where you can watch the full episode with her and she’s had fellow cast members on to watch with her and her husband. I love this, and I would hope everyone that loves BSG at least knows this is happening. She’s currently doing Season 3 and would love to hear your thoughts about it!

The Cloud 9 nuke incident? Because im pretty sure President Baltar told them to stop investigating it. The SAME President Baltar who asked Adama for a nuke for his research, and the same President Baltar who was on trial for crimes against humanity...

I mean, what other explanation could they have? I'm guessing Baltar was the only guy with a private nuke for himself?

So is jumping into a mountain like transporting (ST) into a mountain? Do your molecules become combined with the rocks? Or when jumping into a mountain does the ship and crew jump in intact, just you are forever entombed waiting to die of suffocation or hunger/thirst.

It's about time that I reprint the old girl since the last one "broke her back" when she fell from seven feet as my wife was reorganizing my bookshelf. :(

I'm thinking I'm going to go for a larger format this time, probably a total length of 3 feet. And so, if anybody here has printed some large format battlestars, which I know you're out there, I would love to know which STL you used and/or would recommend.

I'll be printing on my Elegoo Neptune Max 4, FDM w/PLA if the details matter.

The series never really made it clear what the limitations of the jump drives were.

If you're wanting to wipe out the other side then why not simply jump a large asteroid into the upper atmospheres of the Colonies or jump a biological agent (or nukes) into the population centres.

For conventional weapons like Battlestars to make sense surely you'd need to have jump inhibitors to force military confrontation and avoid planetary annihilation.

Just a thought that's been bugging me for a while....

watching bsg (2004) for the first time and last week i was left slackjawed at the season 3 finale. bear mcreary's cover of All Along the Watchtower instantly became my favorite and i decided to sing his version for my weekly karaoke.

i hope i did it some justice! i was thinking about the BSG characters and arcs the whole time i was singing lol the lyrics are so perfect for the show

To be fair I recognised the voice first

EDIT, just to say thanks everyone, this has been a very enjoyable post :)

D'Anna claims that Caprica Six committed the first act of Cylon on Cylon violence in their history when she crushed her head with a rock. But I guess D'Anna just didn't know about when Athena shot another Number Eight to protect Helo on Caprica, during the scene when he realizes that she's a Cylon.

The "Bucket" Galactica retracts her flightpods before FTL jumping. What is with the "Beast" Pegasus? Does she retract her flightpods before jumping as well?

Havnt found anything so far, which can answer me this question.

"I deliberately used the pronoun "her", because those two beauties are female for me"

I know Mary McDonnell shows up later, but, I wasn't expecting an actual reference to BSG.
