Dicussion This made me really sad today
Just two examples here but feel free to go check it out yourself. We are now at the point where the majority of our social media posts barely crack 500 likes. I know that’s usually a really shallow and frivolous metric of popularity, but in this case I think it’s wild. We’re a PROFESSIONAL sports team. These are USL numbers (no shade to the USL it rocks). Nobody really cares about us anymore. The level of apathy associated with this franchise is shocking, speaking for myself as a STH since 2017 as well. The stadium attendance is atrocious, and we only manage to get butts in seats when our opponents have a star DP. I know I’m not saying anything groundbreaking or new, but just something I noticed that really shows how far our level of influence in the league (and in our OWN CITY) have dropped.

Question Private coach for 8-9yo in North Atlanta
Hi, looking for parent recommendations in Alpharetta / Roswell / Johns Creek / Milton / Marietta. My son is almost 8, plays club soccer 2 years in. He needs help reading the game, winning the ball back, and keeping it under pressure. I want 1 extra structured session a week, not just cone drills. Has anyone used a private coach for an 8-9 year old here and saw real improvement in games? No coach ads please. parent experience only. Thanks

Fan Thoughts As the Scarves and Spikes theme song says “this might be all that you get”
It’s time to stop talking about 1-2 more windows. We’ve turned over the whole roster like 3 times, coaches like 5 times, and the front office twice. There is something deeply wrong with this organization and it is ingrained.

Dicussion Atlanta United has spent $650K in GAM on international roster slots in 2026
We spent $400K on the first one back at the start of the year and then we spent $250K in the summer window for a half year slot. Now there's nothing wrong with clubs acquiring additional roster slots as needed for good players, but given the mixed at best performance of many of the new signings, it's hard to see how this was the best move.
* If you sign a cheap domestic veteran GK and commit to starting Hibbert, you free up one slot
* If you keep Amador (has a green card) and commit to integrating Chong Qui, you save a second slot
* You can even not bother with the Galarza/Galoppo loans given that both have comically large purchase options which would make them DPs and we already have plenty of midfielders. Now instead of buying one you're selling one.
You do these 3 moves all of which are reasonable without even seeing the underwhelming results of the signings and you've probably netted yourself $1M in GAM with pretty minimal change in on field results, which would open up flexibility for next year.

Meme/Shitpost Our path to playoffs is much easier than you think.
In honor of /u/scratchbuttdontsniff our resident eternal optimist here is all that has to happen to sneak into the 9 seed. It is easier than it looks because in our last 3 games we face 3 teams ahead of us and these are 6 pointers.
Hard requirements
- Atlanta win all three.
- RBNY lose all three.
- Columbus lose all three.
More requirements — these three conditions, not specific results
4. Toronto take 3 or fewer from D.C. (H) and Philadelphia (A).
5. NYCFC drop points to either Montreal (H) or D.C. (A).
6. D.C. take 3 or fewer from Toronto (A) and NYCFC (H).
Its seems so simple when written out this way. Just us us getting scorching hot at the right time and the several teams in front of us collapsing. If we win all 3, and RBNY and Columbus both lose all 3. We have a 30% chance of playoffs.
Easy.

Meme/Shitpost WWJMD?
I see this every morning when I walk past Midtown High School and get wistful for the good ol’ days.
(Edit: because I didn’t proof my work.)

One Draw...
And ATLUTD officially avoid the spoon. Atlanta also avoid the spoon if SKC has a result other than a win in any of their final three games.

I'm curious, how many of you think the team would be stronger if we started Fafa in Mira's place?
Going off last night's lineup and just replacing Mira with Fafa.
Does Mira offer more on or off the ball than Fafa?
I'm just legitimately curious what others think here. Thank you in advance for your opinions and insight!

Rant 🤬😡😤 This team doesn’t care about the fans
Tata already said last week that we are going to keep the team the same for next season. Why spend money on this trash when they don’t care about us?

He’s been so bad. Today I forgot he was even on the field 😭

What the fuck?
Can someone please explain what happened at 58:20 tonight?! Is that something new? Are free kicks allowed now from the 5 yard box? Why did that even happen, I couldn’t even catch it from the replay? It just all seemed wrong and weird! And why was the ref screaming at everyone?
