I like watching arthouse and alternative movies, listening to new music, reading, fitness, learning new things, exploring nature, drawing (although not that well) among other things, I also have a 'scalesona' so I'm a scalie

I'm a 24yo Canadian from Southern Ontario, and I've been told more than a few times that I'm a bit of an oddball. Politically, I'm a conservative monarchist, but I don't fit neatly into any particular box. Some of my views are further right than our Conservative Party, others are further left. I'm pretty passionate about politics, history, Canadian identity, and civil liberties, and I genuinely enjoy discussing things with people I disagree with.

I've lived all over Ontario, spent a summer working in PEI, experienced homelessness for several years, and worked everything from fast food and warehouses to running hotels. I've lived in big cities, suburbs, and small rural towns. I'm also a cyclist, transit enthusiast, and motorist, so I've got a few different perspectives on transportation. I'm a country music fanatic, a bit of a cowboy at heart, and much more comfortable wearing a leather jacket and boots than anything fashionable.

I'm also a complete night owl. I'd happily work overnights for the rest of my life, and I've always said the moon is my sun. I've got friends from just about every walk of life, a pretty dark sense of humour, and more than a few unusual stories from the places I've been and people I've met. I'm pretty much an open book, so whether it's politics, religion, work, homelessness, music, life experiences, or something completely random, AMA!

I am a teacher and I teach kids of all ages and it is my big passion in life. I also write songs and poetry in my spare time. However I have been suffering with anxiety and depression for a decade. I answer any question you can throw at me. :)
