What just two months and a few good references can do. To be fair, I didn't like the original even when I first made it, that was one of the weakest drawings I did at that time. I guess something about procrastinating doing homework makes my artistic ability ten times better. Or I'm just close to an autumn break

Pumpkin and Bell Pepper Contour Drawing - Exercise from NMA. Decided to revisit the exercise to see if I had noticeable improvement in my lines! I definitely feel more confident.

There were a lot of times where I looked up at the DA greats of that time thinking I'd never get better. It took a long time, but I think kid me would be happy.

Don’t have any colored drawings from back then because I didn’t even know how to render …

It also took me a fraction of the time lmao. I always hated my art, especially 10 years ago, but I think I am finally getting to a point where I am impressed with myself. I went through a lot of health problems that prevented me from practicing efficiently. Now that I am in a better place I feel like it's actually showing in my progress. It's not perfect but it feels good to create again without being in pain :)
