Installation problem

So i was installing a game but while in that process my phone screen turned off and then when i turned it on it said there was a problem parsing the package now the game is not being shown but i think it is partially installed because 4 gb is taken even though there is nothing in home screen.

Was it from the Play Store or an APK file? Either way, check Settings > Apps for the game first. If it's listed there, uninstall it to get the 4 GB back and install again. If it isn't listed and it was an APK, the space might just be the downloaded file sitting in your Downloads folder.

I was downloading it from taptap. And it successfully downloaded but when installing my phone screen turned off because of screen timeout and when i turned it on i had an error saying there was a problem parsing the package

That helps. "Problem parsing the package" usually means the installer file is incomplete or damaged, and an interrupted install can do that. What I'd try:

  1. Settings > Apps > TapTap > Storage. TapTap keeps downloaded games in its own storage, so if it shows around 4 GB, that's your game file and where the space went.

  2. In TapTap, check the My Games tab. If the game is there with an Install button, try once more and keep the screen on until it finishes.

  3. If you get the parsing error again, delete the download in TapTap (or tap Clear storage on that same Settings screen, which frees the 4 GB but signs you out of TapTap) and download it fresh.

Setting the screen timeout to 10 min or so while it installs avoids the cutoff next time.

By the way i checked package installer cache and there wasn't either.
