Fostering to rescue and need a name!
Shelter isn’t sure what he is, but they say Am Staff mix and he’s around 4 months. He’s such a good boy.
Need some name ideas please!!

This is our rescue we got here in Georgia, which we were told is a Staffordshire Bull terrier but she appears to be an American based on her weight which is about 45 lb now. Am I correct in identifying her breed?

I am a big fan of mixed breeds but I fell in love with Rottweilers about 20 or so years ago. I've had 2.5 of them. Joella and Quinn are full breeds and Mike was Rottweiler and (we think) blue heeler.
All 3 I trained to be my service dogs. Joella was first and did great once we got her over her baggage. Mike was next and while he did great as an SD, he worked from home because he smiled and freaked people. Quinn is my current SD and is now 10 so I've been looking for my next one.
I was looking into Rottie rescues and came across two pups whose mom is a Rottie and genetic testing says dad was an American Staffordshire. I know nothing of that breed.
I've heard they have a high prey drive but if I get him as a puppy, can I train him not to chase the cat?
I've heard they like to have jobs but would they like picking things up, going to get specific objects, and going with me everywhere while also behaving like a gentleman?
I know jobs can vary with breeds. Mike liked to herd everyone. But he also handed me anything I pointed to and knew several objects by name. Quinn hates playing fetch and I thought she would wash out but she'll get anything I point to, go get specific objects and people, and a bunch of other stuff.
So any opinions or advice? Would a Rottie/Staffy mix work as a service dog, assuming they are willing and I can train them?

☀️** Good morning, everyone, from Buddy and me! 🐾❤️
Buddy is more than ready to hit the trails, put that powerful little nose to work, and investigate every interesting scent nature has to offer! 🌿🐿️ Of course, no adventure would be complete without a whole bunch of the legendary zoomie**s! 😂💨
Stay tuned for some tail-wagging fun, happy paws, and plenty of puppy adventures. Buddy is ready to make some memories, one sniff and one zoomie at a time! 🐶💚

My best friend crossed the bridge today. He was the sweetest, most gentle boy ever. 14 years old. Love you buddy. Hope you can run and get all the treats for being the bestest friend ever.

My amstaff/am bully/mastiff rescue has very sensitive paws/feet. During the season changes her leg and paw area where her fur normally is looks extremely raw and she licks at it. It is not diet related & gets bad especially during fall and winter. Does anyone have any tips?
It’s not as much her paw pads as it is in between her toes and on her actual feet. Any help is much appreciated 🩷

Benni got a new harness and I can tell you that I really like it. I’m sure I could get one similar and put a d-ring on another brand to mimic. He doesn’t hardly pull at all. Just having that ring in front takes away his strength and guides his head naturally where I’m at. Loving it so far
