Has anyone transferred from uOttawa to Algonquin College? Is it worth it?

Hi,
I’m currently a second year Biomed Science student at uOttawa and honestly, I’ve been struggling a lot academically.
I’ve failed Calculus 1 twice, my CGPA is pretty low, and I’m starting to question whether university is the right path for me.
I’ve been thinking about switching programs or transferring to Algonquin College, but I honestly have no idea how the process works or whether it’s a good decision.
I’m also wondering if I should try to finish my undergraduate degree first and then go to college, or if transferring now would make more sense.
Has anyone here gone from university to college, especially from uOttawa to Algonquin?
Did you regret your decision, or was it actually better for you?
I’m also curious about how transferring works with a low CGPA, whether any university credits can transfer, and what the experience is like compared to university.
