Other New phone (ridiculous situation šŸ˜”)

Hey this is kind of a ridiculous situation I know but it has kind of been bothering me but like recently I got gifted a new phone which is really great and I’m so grateful especially since I’ve been saving up for a new one since the one I currently have is dying lol
But obviously it was a gift so I didn’t get to chose the color or any detail about it lol
So what’s been bothering me is the color I genuinely dislike the color and I hate that I feel this way i shouldn’t be bothered by it I should grow up especially since I don’t even deserve and I’m not even worthy of the gift I completely don’t deserve that kind of gift I know
But man the color is throwing me off like it bothers me and I know it’s stupid but I really hate it I hate myself for that but I know I could throw a black case on it and call it a day but honestly I just always wanted a new good working phone that I would also like kind of put a clear case on with bunch of stickers or idk underneath it but the colorrr (it feels like it’s not reflecting me in a way) it’s just yeah I feel like the color is too « flashyĀ Ā» it’s giving « oh look at meĀ Ā» etc when I really have social anxiety and can’t stand even wearing bright colors because i don’t want people to « stareĀ Ā» at me or anything 😭I know it’s truly ridiculous
And I really hate how bothered I am by it i shouldn’t be I know but it’s kind of hard somehow which is even more stupid tbh, and I don’t want to bring it up to my parents I don’t want them to think I’m ungrateful when I’m crazy grateful and I don’t want them to think I hate it, but I feel awful lmao 😭
So yep.

Personal Being a picky eater

I'm 15 and im still an incredibly picky eater. I have been for as long as I can remember. I don't eat that healthy. I only really snack or eat chicken, cheese, and ramen. The only fruits and vegetables I will eat is corn in the cob and grapes. (Sometimes watermelon) it's honestly really embarrassing because when I go out to eat i usually have to order things from the kids menu because thats all I feel comfortable eating. I wanna try new things but when I actually have it on my plate, my body gets ready to throw up before I have even eaten it. My mom is always telling me that in the future if I keep eating stuff like this I will get fat and have diabetes. I'm breaking out constantly on my chin too and the processed foods I eat are not helping but its the only things I feel comfortable eating. I told my therapist about it a few months back but after a while the conversation drifted elsewhere. I made a post like this before and some comments said I might have ARFID and to go see a doctor. I asked my mom about it and she all she said "you probably do" and sorta shrugged it off. When i asked to go see a doctor she said "why? They'll probably just tell you the same thing i do" I dont know what to do. I dont wanna constantly live being a picky eater and be embarrassed to go out and eat with friends anymore.

Family My (15F) younger brother (14M) is being horrible to our mom after our dad passed away and I don’t know what to do anymore

Hey guys, I really need to vent and get some advice because I’m so exhausted and mad right now.
My dad died a while ago, and obviously it’s been awful for our whole family. My mom is trying her absolute hardest to keep us going. My younger brother (14) asked to go to therapy, so she put him in therapy right away. She buys him literally anything he asks for and does whatever she can for him. But he treats her so badly. He acts like a total victim 24/7. He gets mad if she has a drink (she’s an alcoholic but has gotten SO MUCH BETTER) or if she dates, and he literally says "she’s just trying to buy my love" even though HE is the one always begging her for stuff. Then when she gets it for him, he turns around and acts like she’s evil.

Recently he decided he wanted to see a psychiatrist, but there aren't any near where we live. He literally screamed at my mom like it was her fault. And today my mom was sick in bed and calling/phoning his room asking if he could bring her some medicine. He completely ignored her, so I had to do it. When I called him out, he literally just laughed in my face like it was a game.

I get that grief is hard and everyone copes differently, but he’s just being straightup cruel at this point. I’m so sick of watching him treat my mom like trash when she’s doing everything for him, and I feel like I always have to be the responsible one while he
acts like a spoiled brat.

How do I deal with this without losing my mind or screaming at him? Has anyone else had a sibling act like this after losing a parent? Will he ā€œgrowā€ out of it?

I still love him; I’m just annoyed. Ignore me calling him a spoiled brat.
