Looking to do my first AR-15 build. I have not bought the parts yet, would you all say this is a decent build? If anything what would you change on it. For the most part money isn't a problem and I know the upper is all already built. Any advice as well for assembly for the lower parts?

Currently building an AR from scratch. Its majority Palmetto State Armory. It's going to be very similar to the full Sabre 15 build outright. Just a couple of key things I am changing. I just have a question about what yall might think and if it's ridiculous or not.

I am buying the PSA Sabre-15 complete upper (https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-sabre-forged-11-5-nitride-5-56-moss-green-upper-ral-8000-d-c-and-burnt-bronze-rail.html) in a 11.5 barrel.

I want to run it with a 6inch Suppressor and a Maxim Defense CQB brace.

Do yall think its too long of a gun to run that style brace with a 6inch suppressor? Does anybody have any reference photos of exactly what that could look like or if anyone has a similar size build with that same brace/stock?

I just want to see some pictures for build inspiration to help me finalize some decisions. Currently I can't find builds online of people running this configuration which kind of tells me its a sign that its too long.

Unfortunately they dont sell it in a 10in barrel and I don't want the Mixtape upper. Also don't feel like waiting for it to come back in stock. Im digging the Burnt Bronze and Moss Green vibe.

Need a shorter can. Any advice? Just needs to hit hearing safe, subs only, TI preferred, shorter preference.

Hi all!

I just joined the group. I have an older AR-15 made back around 1994. I went a got a Disruptor FRT for it. WELLLL I got it out today to put in the new trigger and found that the safety has two raised stops on it, making it so I can only switch from safe to fire. If I take a grider and remove one of the stops will that cause any other problems?

Bad attitude custom low key with my army unit and insignia, BCM thermal with noveske 8” and head spaced bolt, noveske bcg, geissele ssa, geissele braided 42 & h3, noveske Handguard, magpul furniture, Q half Nelson on the end.

I’m just sharing how we adapted my AR-15 so I can continue hunting after both of my arms were torn off in a farm PTO accident and successfully reattached.
The lightweight rifle, pistol grip and 30-round magazine make it easier for me to control and reduce how often I have to reload. A mechanical cable adapted from an old camera shutter release allows me to operate the trigger by biting down on a clothespin.
I’m not here to debate magazine terminology, the carry handle or how somebody else would set up the rifle. I just wanted to show what we changed and how this setup allows me to keep doing something I enjoy.

Hey guys, so I just ordered this lower reciever kit and I was curious if I paid to much and what I could improve by replacing in this kit, this will be my first ar and wanted to build it up as much possible to get a better understanding of how it’s built. I will definitely change the grip stock and trigger over time but is there anything I can get a recommendation on complete uppers as well as the other components I mentioned?

I got these magazines at bass pro and they are made by d&h tactical. They lock in my and my dads ar completely fine when unloaded, but when i put even 1 bullet in it they wont lock into either of our guns. I only got them because i haven’t been able to get the promag ones yet, and i know my dad has had problems with metal magazines before. I was just wondering if anyone knew what was wrong with them, and if i can fix it.
