I wanted to post these for so long, at first, I did this Top 10 post after I finish a cycle so that my opinions would be fresh but then I got lazy so I thought to do it after every top cycle photo game, but then again I got lazy. so this is so late now we are already in cycle 8 lol but anyway I just wanted to post this just to be consistent.

Nik was robbed, I really wish she had won. And as much as I don't like Lisa, I can't deny that she does take good photos. I don't have problems with Nicole winning, I'm just sad she won in a cycle where Nik exists 😭 I also thought Bre was underrated by the judges, she did not deserve 5 bottom 2s. She's also one of the prettiest faces in the cycle. I love love Cassandra as well and wish she stayed, but her exit and her averagescore being 2.0 is just so iconic. Also, unpopular opinion (not sure if it is) but I thought her makeover looked so good on her. Jayla and Kim overstayed.

I honestly dont know what else to say I've forgotten about this cycle lol

It’s interesting that you two stand before me because I think either one of you can make it from different aspects.

Whitney.When I first saw you, I thought you were going home first.However,your track record by far is still stronger than Sarah and you still might have a chance with your blooming personality and confidence.

And then we have Sarah, the girl who I thought would go so far down the lane.However,it seems the voters do not care about you and considering such a weak track record, they want you to go home ASAP though I see more promise in you.

So who stays in the competition?

Sarah,I can’t let you off again and the voters have spoken for Whitney instead.

Whitney, you definitely are one of the fundamentally weakest models from America’s Next Top Model but there’s something from the voters I am not seeing, so make me see it.Congratulations, you’re still in the running towards becoming Reddit’s Next Top Model.

I thought you’d made it to the last pre-overseas episode with all that talent!Sarah, I guess the voters do not feel your presence in the room so I want you to go home and be stronger than ever, okay?

Inspired by a previous post, here's a list of call-outs that always seemed so random to me. This won't include WTF eliminations, just call-outs:

- Cycle 1: The entire first week call-out: Tbh, I think that one really was just random other than the bottom 2 and maybe Robin in the "bottom 3". Starting in week 2 they started doing it more by performance level.

- Cycle 2: April getting called fourth for the music video: They seemed to unanimously agree she did the best that week and she won the challenge (probably the most WTF in ANTM history)

- Cycle 3: Kelle getting called fifth the first week, she seemed like one of the possible elimination candidates along with Leah and Ann

- Cycle 4: Tiffany getting called fourth for her Got Milk? photo when they unanimously didn't like it

- Cycle 4: Keenyah getting called fourth for her seven deadly sins photo. Granted, there were only 7 girls but it was just odd to me that she wasn't really a contender for elimination with how criticized she was

- Cycle 4: Top 5 and top 4 call-outs: I will say in this case the judges were trying hard to sell these call-out orders with their critiques but just the critiques were so random and not based on the photos at all

- Cycle 5: Ebony called 8th for superhero photo when they said it was the worst of the week

- Cycle 5: Cassandra getting called first for country couture when they didn't like it

- Cycle 6: Brooke getting called third for falling fairytales when none of them liked it. Similarly, was odd how late Leslie was called when they loved her photo

- Cycle 11: Top 8: Samantha getting called before Joslyn when they unanimously praised Joslyn and weren't super high on Samantha that week

- Cycle 15: Kasey getting called 11th the first week though they loved her photo

- Cycle 17: Bre getting called 7th the first week when they had nothing positive really to say about her photo

I'm sure there are more than these but just some that immediately come to mind

I only have one photo in my hands and this photo represents the girl that will still be in the running towards becoming Reddit’s Next Top Model.

Cassandra,you are a gorgeous girl with a somewhat strong post show portfolio and career.However,you failed to impress the voters again and if you asked me if you should go on further,I don’t think so.

And theres’ Kathleen!You are an iconic contestant but you know else is ‘I know right,I didn’t’,it’s your voters.Your portfolio was not the strongest and your potential was not the weakest but it seems like you were saved tremendously last season because of personality and not your talent and even if it is great,it’s Reddit’s Next Top Model honey.

So who stays?The second time Bottomer that at least has stronger potential or the girl who created an iconic moment but simply can’t save herself this time?

I know right,I didn’t expect you to make it this round!

Congratulations Kathleen,you need to own your own capabilities as far as you are going to be in the competition because you should’ve went on further on ANTM!So next time,I maybe you will be,’I know right,I did!’ when we ask you about your talents.You’re still in the game.

There have been numerous rock climbing shoots, both in Top Model and in actual fashion editorials: for example, Julia Roberts on the cover of Harper's Bazaar [LINK]

But the creative direction in Greece's version (from 2009) is probably the closest I've seen to the original ANTM version (from 2007); down to the lighting and the color of the rock wall.

• ANTM is always on the left, Greece is always on the right.

Which show did this concept better; America or Greece?

I'm hoping to possibly due an elimination game to crown the "best/most infamous" photo of AUSNTM and want to include a photo from each cycle.

I think for sure these will be included:

- Cycle 2: Eboni's nude photo (week 1)

- Cycle 3: Alice's Modern Hollywood glam photo (final week)

- Cycle 4: Samantha's Oyster Magazine Shot

- Cycle 7: Montana's desert photo

- Cycle 8: Shanali's Colorful Couture (walking in the village) photo

- Cycle 10: Aleyna's Cradle Mountain photo with fishing pole

Cycles 1, 5, 6, and 9 though I'm not entirely sure. Some I'm thinking of is Tahnee's photo on the pilar where she's looking down, Amanda's boat photo, and Alex's black and white beauty shot (cycle 9).

I know that people compare the UPN cycles to the CW cycles but I feel like there was a big difference editing wise. For instance, I noticed in the UPN cycles that girls were given more confessionals as opposed to the CW cycles. This was better as we got to know more about the girls and their stories and personalities. I also noticed that panel in the CW cycles was longer as they showed more of Tyra giving feedback instead of the UPN cycles and photoshoots in the CW cycles also felt longer as they showed Jay giving his opinions more on a contestant. Another big difference for me is they definitely showed more house drama in the UPN cycles. They also didn’t make it as obvious who was going to go home as opposed to the CW cycles where they would show a fade-out of who was gonna be in the bottom 3 basically after Tyra announces they were gonna deliberate. I also noticed in the UPN cycles they showed the girls going out more and having fun. Specifically cycle 4 they went out like 4 different times pre overseas. Now with this I wonder if stricter rules were applied in the CW cycles where the girls couldn’t go out as much or they just didn’t decide to show footage of the girls going out to have fun. Love cycles 1-16 but editing wise, the UPN cycles were better and they felt like they fit more content in each episode.

The "model catfight" has been explored in fashion photography numerous times [example, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell for DSquared2], so it's not surprising to see two Top Model series take on this concept

Another overlap is that both shoots feature a supermodel!
