THE SANGUINE PRIEST.

This is my third #HalloweenHabitats26 entry! Built these in a last-minute hurry this past weekend, and WHOO—what a rush. As I stated before, this series of habitats focuses on recurring antagonists in my campaign who each had their own unique brand of spookiness. The third of these is the leader of an archdevil-worshipping cult, a profane priest known as Sylthiog the Sanguine.

•

The Cult of Geryon is best described as a loose collection of individual pockets of worshippers, each with their own goals. Whatever their aims, they all sought to depose the current Lord of Stygia, Levistus the Frozen. Geryon, in all his half-slithery glory, had attracted a number of serpentine yuan-ti to his cause, promising power in exchange for service. Since yuan-ti cults already obey hierarchies so rigidly, they were more than onboard for this cult. Every good cult needs a charismatic leader, though, doesn't it?

Sylthiog the Sanguine is a priest to a small cult of devout followers. He commands powerful magic and teleportation, and is skilled at tracking adversaries across great distances. Among his most recent endeavors is his effort to capture the 49th son of Levistus, ambushing the young adventurer and his party in the snowy plains of the kingdom of Scor. Though he may have failed this time, his ability to regroup and try again whenever he's sufficiently prepared remains a looming threat to the poor boy...

THE LORD OF MT. ONYX.

Here's my second #HalloweenHabitats26 entry! Built these in a hurry this past weekend, but I'm glad I was able to get them all done! As I stated before, this series of habitats focuses on recurring antagonists in my campaign who each had their own scariness factor. The second of these is the leader of the orcs, the Lord of Mt. Onyx, Skinsu.

•

He was a being of pure aggression, whose only soft spot was for his people. When the only family he ever knew was torn apart in a raid, killing his previous mentor, Skinsu took it upon himself to forge a new path for his kind. He made a pact with a powerful deity, resurrecting the orcs from their extinction by transforming those with orcish lineage, and united them under one banner. He holed up in the volcano known as Mt. Onyx, serving the deity of his pact to hold up his end of the bargain, all the while gathering the strength and numbers to eventually retake their ancestral homeland, Skaalgrim.

When an encounter with a party of adventurers went south and ended up with him banished to the Shadowfell, his people lost their direction, and disbanded into smaller tribes of orcs. Though he eventually made it back from the Shadowfell, his whereabouts are unknown. It's rumored that he seeks the reunification of his people, and plots a bid to retake Skaalgrim. Should the day ever come, it will be a bloody day, indeed...

Found a piece I don’t own…

While packing my car to go to the recycling centre.

One of the boxes had been used to store part of my 207 set collection so I was considering unloading everything to see if I’d some one gone against every instinct and not put my pieces away correctly.

Chat GPT helped me determine it is piece 85863pb062 from 2 sets i don’t own and date back to before I started collecting.

3860-w1, Heroica: castle Fortaan, 2011
30170-1 Heroica: Ganrash,, 2012

My oldest was born in 2017 so it’s not one of theirs.

A few emotions went through my head as an AFOL with two children that i am introducing only to Lego through my collection.

Had I been careless, had my kids, where did it come from, where is the rest!

It will now go into my spare set.

SERVANT OF THE RAVEN QUEEN.

Well, folks, I'm a few days late to the party, but this is my first #HalloweenHabitats26 entry! Built it in a hurry! You may be wondering how I could possibly have more ways of themeing these habitats around D&D... So I'll tell you! For this series of habitats, I focused on recurring antagonists in my campaign who were each fearsome for their own reasons. Starting out, we have the Arch-Assassin, the Bludreign, Alistair Crucianhelm.

•

Alistair's will was as strong as his penchant for brutality. Under his rule, the assassins' guild had achieved more for their master than under any other Bludreign before him. They served a mysterious entity in the Shadowfell known as the Raven Queen. Not much was known about the entity, save for her vast network of servants and particular interest in the history of the old world. Just how the assassins served her was unknown, but it was rumored that each victim claimed by their blades was another memory for the Queen's collection. Alistair, her chosen champion of the guild, was, thus, her favorite servant.

His skill with the dual obsidian blades he wielded was unparalleled, and his precise strikes against his foes left them at her mercy. Though he once ruled from an outpost somewhere in Ridgar, their discovery led the guild to flee to the Fortress of Memories, where they served their Queen under the watchful eyes of her ravens.

Struggling with compound curves at 4-stud width: Need SNOT/bracket advice for a roller coaster zero-car nose (YoY - Walibi Holland)

Hi Everyone,

Ever since riding YoY at Walibi Holland this past September, I’ve been obsessed with building both trains (Thrill and Chill) for my personal LEGO coaster display alongside Untamed.

I’ve been working in BrickLink Studio to capture the single-rail Raptor train at a 4-stud width. The chassis and wheel assemblies feel solid, but capturing that compound, organic fiberglass front cowl without looking stepped or blocky has been a real challenge.

Looking for advice on:

• Any clever bracket combinations, inverted slopes, or wedge slope pairings to better taper the front nose cheeks?
• SNOT techniques that maintain decent clutch strength for a physical build while smoothing out those transitions.

The goal is to make the cowl silhouette unmistakable at first glance. Happy to share more angles or an isolated .io submodel if anyone wants to take a crack at it!
Would love your thoughts and suggestions before ordering the bricks.

How do you figure out which parts are missing when rebuilding sets from bulk?

I bought a mixed lot and I'm trying to rebuild a few sets. Checking every part against the inventory takes forever. How do you all do it? Any tricks or tools?

MOC Gave my Unimog a double cab

Here’s V2 of my Unimog, a double cab variant of the V1 I posted earlier.

The whole point of this line is a shared chassis with an upper body that comes off easily, so I can swap in different bodies without redoing the underlying build. The chassis works exactly like V1’s, which meant I could put all my attention on the cab this time. The goal was simple: stretch it into a double cab with room for 4 minifigs.

Once the main shape was settled, I spent the rest of the time on the extra details. Those small bits make it feel a lot more like a working Unimog.

Already thinking about what other bodies this chassis could carry. Let me know what you think!
