Best affordable recorded ACCA coaching in India?

I’m working full-time and looking for affordable recorded ACCA classes. Zell and Grant Thornton seem expensive.

Has anyone tried ArivuPro, VIFHE or other budget-friendly providers? How are the teaching quality, doubt support and mock exams?

Please suggest the best value-for-money option based on your experience.

Discussion I regret doing Bcom

I passed bcom 4 years ago and I'm very confused what to do. I wasted 3 years on CAT and one government exam. I am depressed

I wanted to do ACCA but after researching about it I'm depressed and anxious. There is no scope for ACCA here.

According to this sub people who have do ACCA are getting any jobs and even if they do the pay very low for someone who sunk years in to this.

I wish I took engineering, I know it's harder but atleast we could have had more options. All we have is CA/ACCA/CMA/ CMA US/MBA

I don't know what to do, im panicking right now. I was depressed for years, can't go out to any functions. Should I do ACCA? Please help me guys, I'm at rockbottom

Is ACCA worth it?

Hi everyone! I am currently 15 years old and I am in tenth grade. I am getting confused over what to pick in the commerce field. There are a lot of options like CFA-which I heard is for stocks and investment, basically portfolio or wealth management and it pays the highest. but it is really really hard to pass. along with which I also dont wanna go for ca because of such low chances of clearing and all the internship headache. What I heard is that ACCA basically takes you abroad if you manage to get into big 4 and work with all you have there. but as I’m seeing everyone saying this ”course ruins your life! do something else!” it really tenses me out. I have an interest in commerce and I used to read articles about the market since like 7th grade so I don’t wanna go for science stream. now why I am thinking about this now is because when my parents will ask me why I wanna pick commerce I’ll have to tell them my specific plan-or else they’ll just say take science you don’t know anything about commerce. I need help-Is B.Com+ACCA integrated (where they give 9 exemptions) from universities like Christ, Loyola and symbiosis worth it? because I heard if you are not able to go abroad for some reason and stay in India-the package is like max to max 30lpa-that too after 12+ years when you are up the corporate ladder. If any of you have any suggestions for me, please share

Thank you!

Title: ACCA SBR in December or March? Need genuine advice from students balancing college and ACCA

Hi everyone! I’m pursuing B.Com (Hons) alongside ACCA and could really use some advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

I recently attempted SBR and scored 43 marks. I’m considering a resit on 10 December, but my university end-semester exams run from 26 November to 9 December, covering six subjects.

My current CGPA is 8.79, and I want to maintain a good academic record while making progress with ACCA. I’ve already studied SBR once, so I’m familiar with the concepts, but I still need to revise and practise questions. I’m worried about managing both, especially with SBR scheduled just one day after my last university exam.

I’ve heard that clearing ACCA papers sooner can be more valuable for future career opportunities, but I also know that CGPA matters for campus placements.

If you were in my position, what would you do?

- Would you prioritise ACCA or university exams?

- How important is CGPA in the long run compared with clearing ACCA papers?

- Is attempting SBR on 10 December realistically manageable, or would you postpone it to March?

I’d appreciate honest, practical advice from students who have balanced ACCA with college. Thanks!

Title: Booking locked in for Dec 10! Approx 44 days to prepare for SBR (INT) – advice for working in audit with IFRS/US GAAP

Hey everyone,

I’ve officially booked my SBR (INT) exam for December 10th, which leaves me with approximately 44 days to prepare!

My Background:

I work in audit and deal with accounting frameworks (IFRS and US GAAP) in my daily job.

I’m entering at the Strategic Professional level, so this is my first ACCA exam.

Since I have practical exposure to accounting standards through work, I want to focus my remaining 44 days heavily on exam technique, narrative structure, and ACCA-specific formats.

Questions for past passers / fellow candidates:

What is the best way to structure a 40+ day revision schedule when balancing full-time work?

How should I approach Group Accounting (Q1) to get comfortable with the pre-populated spreadsheet environment on the Practice Platform?

What are the key mindset shifts needed when moving from real-world auditing/financial reporting to writing SBR discursive answers?

How much are past exams pprs important and do concept repeat?

How much emphasis should I place on recent updates like IFRS 18 presentation rules and sustainability reporting (IFRS S1/S2)?

Any study roadmaps, exam technique tips, or tutor recommendations would be awesome. Good luck to everyone preparing for the December sitting!

RSM India Offer Letter Approval

Hey everyone,

I recently interviewed with RSM India for an Internal Audit role in Bangalore. I am a Bcom graduate and Acca part qualified ,I completed three rounds of interviews, and the discussions with the hiring manager went quite well. The manager also spoke about the possibility of me joining the following month.

HR told me that my salary breakdown had been prepared and that the process was pending approval from the HR Head. It's been around a week now, and I still haven't received my offer letter.

I reached out to the hiring manager, who said that the approvals are still pending and that he's following up with HR from his end. He also mentioned that the delay might be related to the compensation, although he wasn't entirely sure.

The CTC discussed is ₹4 LPA.

For those who work at RSM India or have experience with Big 4/mid-tier firms, I have a few questions:

  1. Is it normal for an offer letter to take a week or longer because of pending approvals?

  2. Does HR Head approval usually mean the candidate has been selected and they're just finalising the offer, or can the hiring decision still change at this stage?

Should I be concerned, or should I give it a few more days?

I've been recently completed the interview and related on boarding processes for Ey's assurance consultant role. As an ACCA Affiliate without prior work experience this is my very first employment opportunity.

I would like to know what are the skills and additional input from my side before joining will make me best fit for this role. if any of you worked previously for the same position, suggest me the things that I should consider from the very first day to work productively. I just want to know the focus areas like what should I revise? ie. IFRS, Excel, audit procedures etc or something else (if anyone is willing then please add a comment, then I can DM you)

Thanks in advance :)

NO JOBS FOR ACCA IN INDIA ???????

Whenever I open Reddit and read about ACCA's scope and future in India, almost 90% of people say that it's not worth it and is just an expensive B.Com.

Right now, I'm at the ACCA Skill Level, but after reading these comments, I feel demotivated. Is ACCA the right decision or not? I'm worried that I might study very hard and still struggle to find a job after qualifying.

I also have approximately 2 years of experience at a CA firm in due diligence before starting ACCA. I started ACCA because I want to work at Big 4 firms or a good company. I'm planning to start working after clearing 9 out of 13 papers.

If anyone has experienced unemployment after completing ACCA, please feel free to share your experience. I genuinely want to understand the reality of this course rather than hear only positive things.

One more thing: In my opinion, ACCA provides better knowledge than a B.Com degree from a local college. I'm not comparing it with graduates from Tier 1 colleges, but I believe ACCA provides sufficient practical and theoretical knowledge.

If anyone has anything to say about ACCA, please share your experience. If you're currently working after pursuing ACCA, I'd also love to hear about your experience, salary, and career growth.

Is getting a job that hard

I'm a B.Com grad with 9/13 ACCA cleared and 4 months of statutory audit experience under my belt.
I'm applying for basic entry-level Audit Associate roles at Big 4s and mid-tiers, but I literally cannot pass the initial resume screening. Every application disappears into a black hole, and referrals aren't getting me anywhere either.
Is anyone else getting ghosted everywhere right now, or is my application missing something critical? How are part-qualified ACCAs actually landing interviews?

Will this work for all 13 exams?

Doubt/Question Should I go for acca

Should I go for acca , like I am getting 5 exemptions for my b.com and since I will be graduating in 2027 June I will start after graduation. From 2027 the total papers are 11 so I will have to give around 6 papers. But I am confused will I be able to do it as I am an average student and should I do it or go for something else.
