Obviously a benchy. Also a printer poop holder and bed scraper handle (not the one that comes with the micro SD card that’s designed for a different scraper)

Print a pla bed scraper. It works fine for most of the prints and doesn't damage your plate. Ask me how i know.
And poop bin and poop deflector.

❤️ I’m not a brand whore but I love it when someone gets a new printer. All of us creative minds need to bring manufacturing to our homes. Happy printing man!

I was thinking to buy one too as my first, but i cant decide between the a1 mini and the a1, i’m scared that the mini it’s too small.

First good decision I made 3d printing: assuming that extra space would make a world of difference.

Think of it the same way you should think of TVs. Go with the size you want or you will be making unhappy compromises in the future.

Unless you want to print huge cosplay pieces or something, the Mini is most likely big enough for 90% of anything you'll ever want to do. And you can always get a bigger printer to accompany it later.

If you asking which ones to buy id say the a1 mini is a good intro to 3d printing its big enough for starting out but if you want tk print bigger stuff the a1 is good but jd say the a1 mini is best tk get for starting out

Love that little printer. Mine is up to 6000+ hours and still runs like a champ.

Print some covers for the exposed rails and belts and whatnot. The files can be found on <insert popular 3d file website>. It is an open printer so its moving bits tend to collect dust. You're gonna have to remove them covers every time you use the printer, but keeping them on while it's not doing anything is a good idea.
Also look at stuff like this. I found that model just now as an example, feel free to search and find something better. The problem they solve is that the PTFE tube and the toolhead wiring harness on that printer have the extremely annoying tendency to get intimate with the printer's z-axis as the bed slings back and forth. They constantly try to cross over to the other side of the tower, sometimes get stuck and put strain on things, and they usually make annoying whacking sounds. Models like that fix that problem.

You reminded Me Three years ago, I almost got this mini , instead I got the A1 , I am glad I did. And trust me you won't get disappointed. I am still happy with this printer. Only yours have less printable area. So great choice

I'm considering the A1. Do you get much use out of it still?

Yeah it is still is a beast, you just print in it and it doesn't disappoint. A1 and A1mini are the same except the print area and display screen sizes....

I've a P1S and 2 A1 minis. Rarely have 2 minis going together but handy to have loaded with filament. One with PLA and one with TPU. I'm actually rarely confined by the print volume of them either to be honest. I use the P1S for whatever but often it's ASA it's printing.

A scraper or the handle for the included scraper blade should be your first print, since it makes anything else you print so much easier. You won't be producing much waste without the AMS, but a poop bin will still get use as a second print and save you picking bits of plastic out of the carpet. You might also want a couple of filament clips to keep the spools of filament under control whenever you swap between them.

I printed the scraper, poop tray, and a dust preventing cap for the ams slots on top of the printinghead(?)

congrats, the a1 mini is a fun one. before the first print wipe the plate with some dish soap and warm water, fingerprints are the number one reason stuff won't stick. start with the white pla since it's the easiest, and let it run the calibration when it asks so you're not chasing weird first layers later. save the petg for when you've got a few good prints under your belt.

You got the cheapest printer and Bambu gave you a full kg spool? I bought 2 k2 pros and they only came with half a kg. Good for you! I've been curious about getting one of these but I hope it works well for you
