question Do you ever stop counting calories?
I've been doing it for a year and a half and I'm tired. I got to my weight goal but I can't bring myself to stop obsessing with numbers and I don't want to stop managing what I eat but I'm tired of the math and the kitchen scale. Did you ever stop counting calories and how did it go?

meal Red lentil mushroom soup with spinach, 277 calories
This was a "use up what's in the fridge/pantry" dinner and I'm really happy with it!

Waffles - 343 calories
Delicious and filling. This is definitely more than the sum of its parts. Protein waffles taste like protein waffles and Breyers is pretty ‘meh’, but they complement each wonderfully. The cherries are perfect and elevate anything you add them to.
(Pro tip: Those cherries as a topper to chocolate sugar free pudding is straight up decadent.)
Kodiak power waffles- x2 waffles- 240 kcal
Breyers Carb Smart ice cream- 44g- 68 kcal
Great Value sugar free cherry pie filling- 85g- 35 kcal

280/300 cal breakfast
I’ve been trying to get as many nutrients as possible per meal and keep the calories a bit lower, but I love a mix of sweet and savory. I’ve never been a breakfast person before but hoping eating it more often will help me fight cravings later in the day. I added a random cube of chicken I cooked yesterday because it was so good and I had a craving for it lol

question Does anyone else find vegetables make them hungrier?
I'm frustrated when I eat veggies and volume food it seems to make me hungrier then when I eat smaller foods that are denser in calories. Particularly vegetables even when paired with potatoes and protein I seem to get hungry idk if it's a digestion issue.

other Misleading nutritional labels?
galleryCame across Wingreens Farms baked pita bread crisps, the pack says 264 calories for a 100g of chips. I haven't seen a label like that before. What do you guys think?

question Advice to start
So I’ve been on the cusp of 200lbs and 180 for years , I got on Wegovy for 7 months and I’m down to 155lbs I haven’t been this size since my 20s (42) im 5’1” and biologically female ( am ftm) anyways insurance cut me off and there is no getting back on or paying for it I’m just too broke for that
Unfortunately I’m mostly sedentary I’ve got MS and a lung issue on top of it so walking long distances and other exercise can sometimes be difficult, with my hunger back I’m struggling and I’ve been eating anywhere from 1600-1900 calories and on bad days 2100 but not often I do not want to gain the weight back so what is a good starting point especially for someone who doesn’t have much as far as funds go I have a bad habit of getting a lot of shelf stable foods and I know it’s not really healthy considering pasta and rice are carbs

Exhausted
I’m eating 1200-1400 daily but always feel hungry/tired and weak have also been getting headaches I think the headaches could be from cutting out soda I was drinking 2-3 a day but now do 1. Do these feelings get better? I’m only on week 2 and have already lost a few pounds just hate always feeling like this and thinking about food.

other Pleasantly surprised by Konjac pasta
I heard multiple horror stories both online & from friends about the awful, horrible taste of the wicked Konjac/shirataki pasta that deceives the foolhardy into thinking it's a good low calorie alternative, and decided to try one small single-serving package just to experience it for myself and know one way or another
so I followed the basic instructions, rinsed it for abt. 1-2 minutes, fried it in a pan plain till it went dry and sizzled loudly, then put a small amount of tomato sauce, some light broth, some salt, bit of minced garlic & a few grinds of pepper & dabs of low cal spicy chipotle
Then fried it on low for a while till it all absorbed into the konjac and the pan was mostly dry aain
And it was... really good? like, the texture isn't the best, but I got used to it very quickly, and the taste & overall slurping up pasta experience was excellent
Are people just not preparing this properly? It wasn't unpleasant to eat to me at all
Granted I haven't eaten normal pasta in a while but it was pretty great for ~60 calories in the entire small serving(which mostly came from the sauce)

Been having almond milk everyday for like 4 years it’s starting to taste watery to me lol and makes drinks taste bad imo now

we got chick-fil-a grilled nuggets and kale crunch at home
almost a 1:1 comp on macros compared to chickfila’s meal!
130g tyson frozen grilled chicken bites: 200 kcal, 31g protein (vs chickfila 12ct grilled nuggets: 200 kcal, 38g protein)
90g marketside kale pecan cranberry chopped salad kit: 170 kcal, 2g protein (vs chickfila kale crunch side: 170 kcal, 4g protein)
9g clover honey: 25 kcal, 0g protein
***bonus points/honorable mentions:
-the marketside salad kit has dried cranberries in it which i LOVE and reminds me of the OG chickfila superfood side which had kale and broccolini with dried sour cherries 😭
-the tyson chicken bites ($8.75 for 20 oz) and marketside kale salad ($3.60) totals only ~$12 for easily 3 meals vs chickfilas grilled nugget meal for the same price in my area
