Perez will be valuable, if they can get him within a pitstop of lewis, he could be a huge asset in holding hammy back after a pit and possibly allowing for a S-H one stop from RB

This used to be a one stop track, with soft to hard being the quickest during the race overall. They have changed the track to make the corners less aggressive. So soft to hard should still be quickest, by a larger margin than before.

I also think Checo's starts on Sunday have been pretty damned good recently. Last week he had to slow down to avoid slamming into Max and in COTA he was ahead of Max and basically ceded the position for free. (Going off memory here)

I wouldn’t say everything. They can still keep him insanely long out if he keeps within HAM pit window, or he can get around him on reds into turn 1 since he is directly behind.
Norris can be useful too, if he gets split stream and heads in front of HAM it will be hard for LH to overtake Norris on softer tires

I don’t think Noris will worry much about a Red Bull getting passed him. He’d rather spend his energy and tires defending against a Ferrari.

He was so close. He was only about a tires width wide of the boundary. P8 is still a decent start and is on the Mediums so he can make up places in the race.
His qualifying has been strong for the past half dozen races or so but either through driver errors or bad strategy hasn't had strong race finishes. I'm rooting for him to have a strong end of the season and improve more next year!

AT will probably be very bad last year. With the new regulations and the way the team is set (basically using the RB of the previous year), it means they’re probably gonna be quite fucked.

Yuki has honestly been matching Gasly the past few races, there's still dumb mistakes that costs him the points but his pace is finally showing. Hopefully he'll get in the groove next year

Really depends on the reg change. Maybe towards the middle of the season once everyone is accustomed to new cars, but still RB could edge the specs

Russell's overrated, though I'm glad he's getting a shot. I'd prefer Norris in Mercedes, but if McLaren has a good car next year, they should score some podiums.
