I'm putting together a raffle basket for a company event and I'd like to feature local food products. I'm already thinking Utz and Snyder's (and not just the regular stuff you can get at Giant, but limited items from their factory outlets), jerky from the place in New Eastern Market, maybe chocolate from Fitzkee's? And I can't include alcohol.

If you have any suggestions, some gems worth including, please share! I know there's a lot out there, but my brain is already overwhelmed. Plus it's always nice getting outside opinions on this. Again, keeping it local to York County.

Can someone explain the intersection at Apple hill? It seems really weird, if you are on S. George St. coming from York turning on to Monument Rd and people coming up S. George St. from Jacobus also turn onto Monument Rd. at the same time. Both have the green light. But I have seen a lot of close calls at that intersection. Shouldn’t the cars heading from York have the right of way? It’s a very badly thought out intersection.

Hi y'all, looking for something to do in the area (preferably free) that would allow me to meet some new people around my age (mid 20s-early 30s) and make some new friends. I've been in the area for about two years, but haven't really had the opportunity to get out and meet new people. Recent change in work schedule has opened up my afternoons so looking for some social activities to do during the week and weekends that would allow me to meet some new people.

Hey, I’m teaching a teenager to drive and I’m wondering if anyone knows what the driving test route is in York County specifically the Queen St. location. I’ve heard that the test takes you on the highway down to Shrewsbury and then back again and I just wanted to confirm if that is accurate. I am not originally from Pennsylvania. I took my test in Connecticut 40+ years ago so I have no idea how it works here lol.
