Name Reservation Show off your names!
0
Upvotes
Name Reservation issues seem to be dying down. Some leftover problems but seems that the bulk of players have gotten through the storm.
Time to show off what you managed to reserve here.
We've also added a temporary flair for the next 24 hours if you want to just post it to the subreddit to allow users to filter both for and away on these posts.
After 24 hours the flair will be disabled and name reservations will be consolidated in this megathread for the rest of the week until launch.

Name Reservation What WoW Forever character name can you never use, but are happy to share with us?

Maybe because it's too dirty, obnoxious, banned or simply reserved beyond your grasp? Regardless: fire away!

Name Reservation What I’ve managed to claim

I was spamming reconnect for 90 minutes. I figured it might be fixed at 21.00 so I stopped clicking every second and lost at least 10 second before finding out the ruleset was available.😭 I was aiming for Dark Magic, I was so pre-pared. Had sticky paper on my screen to know where to click asap and practiced typing the name. It was taken so quickly, I was bummed out so much! Alas I’m happy with what I’ve managed to get. Ill probably delete dark spell whenever I think of something better.

Name Reservation Naming Drama

I think this is a hot take that’ll probably get me dragged, but screw it.
I feel like atp Blizzard could’ve avoided all this mess and been better off just allowing people to use duplicate names, and assigning every character created a unique numerical string you can share with others for adding to friends lists and such.
Does another John Worldofwarcraft existing diminish my experience in any meaningful way? What is this, Highlander? Is it any more immersive to never run into anyone with the same name unless it’s got a bunch of accents and umlauts in it?
If someone wants to make an entire guild where everyone is named Gary, I say let’em. 🤷♂️

What gives? It's been 3 hours since the name reservations opened. I came home for lunch at 1, got disconnected 10 times and gave up. Now I'm home and it's no servers available? This is lame
