I made a grocery order at 7:00p and the driver shopped my full order and made it to ”checking out”. she had been checking out for over two hours. the delivery time kept getting pushed 10 min every 10 min. they did not respond to my messages in the app or answer the phone. what gives? it’s 9:20p and after talking to 3 diff uber reps, they finally agreed to cancel my order. has this happened to yall before? what was up with the driver?

For anyone in the Allen, TX area who ordered a prescription from Walgreens yesterday:

I attempted to deliver a prescription yesterday, but the location pin was set in the middle of the nearest intersection instead of the actual apartment complex. I was able to find the complex, but I couldn't get through the gate because I wasn't provided a gate code. I called and waited by the leasing office for about 10–20 minutes, hoping the customer would call or text me back, but unfortunately, I never received a response.

I understand that things happen, but please make sure your delivery location is accurate, provide any necessary gate codes, and keep your phone nearby. We genuinely want to get your deliveries to you, especially when it's medication, but we can't do that without access to the property or communication from the customer.

$76 before tip for two medium pizzas from Papa John’s. Went on the Papa John’s app, $33– I even went ahead and added an order of 16 wings and it still came out cheaper to a total of $56. On top of that the Papa John’s delivery driver is probably making more per hour than the Uber Eats driver while working less. Cherry on top is the fact that some of them aren’t even using their own car, so no gas and no wear n tear. I’m never using Uber Eats again.

Hoping the driver is fine, but this is actually kinda funny at this point, how long can I be waiting for an order before Uber steps in? Also if the order somehow comes it'll just be a melted drink lol. I've never seen so much go so wrong on a food delivery app. What are we doing guys.

When I order groceries through Uber Eats I'll have like 50 items. EVERY SINGLE Item that the driver finds and puts in the cart I get an audio alert for. It's making me insane. I need audio so I hear if they have a text question or replacement or something. Please tell me there's a solution. Android.

I was on the Uber Driver app as a Walker and it kept recommending this order to me. Like first of all, it didn't show me any pay which is weird, instead it just said "19 mins away" and "0.9 mi away" so what I think it means is that the store was 0.9 miles from my current location and then a 19 minute drive from the store to the drop off. Usually it shows the total miles of the trip and also how much you will earn. I usually just keep the Uber Driver app open as a Walker and wait for deliveries that are at any of the places within walking distance to me and which are going towards any of the apartments near me while I do whatever.

The prices of the long range keeps going up for the same place within only 2 months ,how is it allowed they keep raising the prices for long range and I even have uberone ,it’s not fair ,I use to pay 24-25 after tax and fee and tip and now it’s 31-34 for the same order

So, yesterday my UberEats driver went to my neighbour's door (despite the door numbers being clearly marked) and, when my neighbour came to the door, the driver asked for me by Mr then my first name. So like Mr John if my name was John Smith.
My neighbour didn't twig that it was me and the driver is on both of our ring doorbells taking an order worth 65GBP (86USD) back into his car and drove off.

UberEats are telling me that's not grounds for a refund.... I mean - what the hell?

I deleted Mr D app and moved to Uber eats because D started charging a service fee. Now Uber eats is doing the same. Bye Uber!!! Time for me to get off my fat ass and do my own cooking 😁😁🤔

To be transparent, I mostly use Skip, and I am generally pleased with their customer service. Most times when I’ve had an issue, Skip either refunds or gives me credits.

I looked at my UE account today. I placed an order and it was delivered to another location. Too bad, said UE. It was delivered. No refund.

So I looked at my history. Out of all the “complaints” I’ve had (7 over 2 years), not a single one received any refund or compensation. About $500 worth of my money they just took.

My issues have sometimes been with the restaurant, and sometimes with the delivery.

So friends, has anyone received a refund, like, ever?

How happy am I driving with Uber? I haven't been happy in a really long time. It's the worst fkn company on Earth that has even worse fkn customer service. You seek to hire the most illiterate and uneducated mother\\* you can dig up in some sh*t poor country like Bangladesh. They have absolutely zero understanding of the English language and can't help with the most basic shi*.

On behalf of uber, I no longer even call support about anything. I just handle stuff in Uber's name with the customer. I don't have them call you any longer because you're going to do nothing for them, just like you do what the drivers.

I pray almost every day that this company sinks and people quit driving for you. Your BS will eventually catch up to you as a company. It might not be next year, but at some point everybody will be changing the channel. The driver's and customers.

You're also most likely circumventing federal law by bringing on such and such person. I would be willing to bet that if DHS ever decided to look into your company, you will lose half the work force overnight. Uber can be fined millions of dollars for circumventing federal law.

Nobody uses these services much as they once did because of all the low quality drivers. I bet you can't find one single person still doing this that started when Uber started. You pay from the bottom of the barrel and that's the kind of service they're giving the customers

The clock for this company started tiking a long time ago

I have no idea what is happening, but seemingly all forms of Uber software have decided to screw me. Long story short, I can't add a card back to my payout options (after needing to remove it as an attempt at fixing the issue of it not wanting to cash out for some reason), a ton of things on the site just don't work (including checking/editing my bank details), and the nearly $60 I had stuck in my balance claims to have made it to my bank through the automatic weekly payout but just hasn't. Everywhere I turn, something crucial just isn't functioning, nor is it giving me a good reason why, saying nothing more than "something went wrong." This has been happening for 24 hours now. And worst of all, almost nobody else is having these issues, even though it seems to be an issue of the fundamental Uber payout management software and not my specific profile.

I need help pretty bad, but the only option is the chat helplines, and this seems to be beyond their scope. I just want to talk to someone about this over the phone. At the very least, I need someone to explain why it seems I'm pretty much the only person dealing with this.

Update: the auto-pay finally hit at least. But I feel like it doesn’t normally take this long. Then again, I normally just insta pay everything.

I’ve had this gift card for years and I’ve never been able to use it.

it keeps saying payment is declined

Things I’ve tried:

•Closing and opening the app

•Trying to order in incognito mode on browser

•Tried uber and uber eats

•Making the order total less than the amount of the gift card

•Tried 2 cards and Apple Pay

What can I do ??

why have delivery prices gone up! fees that were once £2.99 are now £10 but seem to be free with uber plus.. ridiculous switching to deliveroo.
