Hello! Apple TV has been launched in my conutry finally..But I have a problem with it and I hope someone can help me. Every time I turn on the TV, it “forgets” that I used the application and keeps sending me to Google Play to reactivate it. After reactivation, it remembers the account, profiles and viewing history, but it is very inconvenient to keep looking for the application every time. Does anyone know what to do?
I tried reinstalling, clearing cache and other basic solutions. The TV is a Sony Bravia 75WL.

Hi, can anyone help, I use a 3rd party fireplace screensaver whilst listening to Tidal on my Apple TV 4K 2nd Gen. Since the update a pop up appears at the top right of the screen every time a song changes showing the new song and a note saying hold TV button for more options, it's really annoying and I don't want it. This has only just started happening since the latest update. I've been through all settings and can't see anything to stop this happening? Anyone help? Thanks

Anyone else lose the ability to install apps via the appstore after installing 27.2?

I have filed feedback but just want to confirm if it's isolated to me.

when trying to download new apps or previously downloaded apps, hitting the get/download button results in a quick spinning icon, then nothing, no app download no error.

I have logged out and re logged into profile as well as tried using a different appleid, but same thing, no download..

Hesistant to perform a reset at the moment as I will lose my current apps with no way of redownloading them is the issue continues..

Anyone else having an issue where you can't press on a channel from the Mini Guide? When you do, it just tries to pause the video stream. Same with setting up a Multiview.

Hi everyone, I just put iOS 27 on my AppleTV, excited to check out the hi-res lossless audio. Much to my dismay, the feature simply is not there. I have changed every possible setting I have found on Reddit, AV forums, random websites that showed up in searches, etc., still nothing. Before you ask, all of my hardware is fully compatible. My AppleTV is connected directly to my Yamaha V6A receiver, with a compatible cable, and all settings have been adjusted to ensure compatibility. I listen to hi-resolution audio discs, including SACD, and DVD-Audio. I have hi-res 24/192 music on USB drives that plays without issue. I have been using hi-res audio formats for 2+ decades, so I was naturally excited to see it being “supported,” but, supported is not really ringing true to me here.

What in the finicky hell is happening here?

So why is there this cool view of music videos on Apple Music, similar to songs where the middle center of screen plays the active music video, and you can see the previous and next videos partially on the left and right….

Yet if I click left or right, instead of the new video playing in the middle of the screen, it forces you to watch it in a full screen view?!?

It’s been this way through betas, and I thought it would eventually be fixed.

I have a few automations set up in Apple Home that use the "Get Contents of URL" action to send push messages to my iPhone via Pushover.

Ever since updating to tvOS 27 Public Beta, these have just flat-out failed to work. If I run a test from my iPhone or Mac, the shortcut works fine, but not from the automation of the Apple TV. It doesn't seem to be limited to Pushover either, as no other URLs seem to work.

Is this down for everyone else too? Or just a problem with my system requiring a reset? I've raised it with Apple in their Feedback app, but it still keeps failing on every Public Beta release.

First time on the beta w/ latest 4K box. On Samsung tv, YouTube is garbled, but sadly, not the ads. When I use HomePod as output, no problems. Even downgrading via Apple TV settings to stereo and 16 bit still gave garbled punctuated sound.

Just noticed a new update this morning. Anybody try it?

Has the new public beta fixed the issue where it was making HDR and DV dimmer than it’s supposed to be?

It appears that I still have to turn off “ Continuous Audio” MAT Atmos.
Audio suddenly disappears usually after changing from a streaming service to another show or streaming app .
Solution:
Force stereo , turn off MAT . Restart it and it should work for a day or so.

Anyone run into this? Latest beta, volume control with the Apple Remote stopped working on my Samsung. Tried re-registering but it can’t even see the volume signal from the Samsung remote.

None my customer / private feeds are showing up in the new Podcasts app. These are feeds that I have added from Memberful and Patreon memberships. I have verified that they do still appear in tvOS 26, iOS 27, iPad OS 27, and macOS 27.

Is anyone else having this issue? I filed Feedback when DB 2 was released but Apple hasn't responded or resolved this issue.

Anyone having WiFi issues? I keep dropping WiFi connection and it ain’t my WiFi because it’s working on everything else

I have a problem and would like to know if it’s just me or if others are experiencing it too. Here’s the situation:

I have a third-generation Apple TV 4K running the latest tvOS 27 Beta 5. When I watch content through the Apple TV app—for example, “For All Mankind” or purchased movies like “Mortal Kombat 2”—everything works perfectly. At least as long as I have the audio running through my TV.

Now I wanted to test my AirPod Max 2 with the Apple TV for the first time. The AirPods also have the latest beta software installed. As soon as I connect them to the Apple TV and start a show or movie, the video quality immediately drops to an extremely low level. The audio is also played back in stereo only.

If I start playback and connect the APM2 while it’s playing, the playback runs for a few minutes as you’d expect, until the quality (picture and sound) suddenly drops back down to an absolute minimum.

Just updated my 3rd gen AppleTV 4K to the newest tvOS 27 public beta.

I'd had my "Display Zoom" set to "Large" under "Appearance" (ie, 5 icons across instead of 6). But this option now appears to be unavailable in tvOS 27; the home screen has defaulted to displaying 6 icons per row, with no option to switch.

Anyone else encountering this, or just me?

Hello, I’ve had an issue for about six months on my tcl Roku TVs in which the Apple TV won’t do atmos. Cables are good, pass through is enabled, nothing seems to work. Can’t see it in control center or in each show listing in the TV app. If I remove the HomePods and do internal speakers atmos shows up everywhere. No issues with my Sonos system on the other tcl Google tv. Has this been fixed on the beta?

On beta 5 my Samsung Remote "Back/Return" button no longer works. Have tired this on two Apple TVs and two different Samsung remotes. Everything is fine on Beta 4, but the "Back/Return" button is no longer working as soon as I upgrade to Beta5. I've reported this in Apple Feedback. Feedback status shows more than 10 reports on this with the status "open"

Apple Remote and the I phone Remote application work fine. Just the Samsung remote back/return button is affected on Beta5

Update 8/19 -- This problem appears to be occurring on many non-Apple Remotes not just Samsung Remotes. Apple is certainly aware and I believe will correct this in a future tvOS release. It was not fixed in the most recent beta 6 release.

Update 8/20 -- My Feedback Case (FB24277478) status on "Back" button problems with many non-Apple TV Remotes been updated from "open" to "potential fix identified - for a future release." However , this problem was not fixed with tvOS Developer Beta 6.

Update 8/24— FIXED ON MY Samsung Remote with Developer tvOS Beta 7 (24J5358a) !!!! Hopefully this fixes other 3rd party remotes as well.
