A family affair, my chronic BIL was in attendance.

He'd asked me to get him whenever I was going for a ciggie, he felt more comfortable puffing with a smoker outside this posh hotel we were at.

My 81 y/o aunt is a cigarette smoker, she also asked me to get her when I was going out for the company.

She came and got me at one point to see if I wanted to go out, I said sure - let me grab BIL. She looks at me with a curious face, "I didn't know BIL smoked cigarettes", to which I replied, "Oh, BIL doesn't smoke cigarettes..."

With a now understanding face she looks at me and excitingly says;

"Oh, I know some people who don't smoke cigarettes, either!"

Life's like that.

Professional roller out of Los Angeles. This is an order I am doing for a fellow brand, they wanted some FAT HOLES. This is 2 grams flower with 1 gram of rosin. Flower is Pineapple Zikigai and the rosin is Honey Banana. How many of these are yall smoking in a day? 🤔

After being an (almost) every day smoker for almost 10 years, I took a dab in my apartment that seemed incredibly average which led to me coughing real hard and a pain in my lungs. After it didn’t go away for 11 days with other concerning symptoms arriving after a bit like heart palpitations, I went to my local urgent care who immediately recommended me to a hospital. There, I was given an emergency chest tube procedure due to a collapsed lung, and was told that my days of smoking were pretty much over. Even if I were not to smoke, the chance of my lung collapsing sometime in the next few years is 20-30%. Smoking will raise that to 60-80%.

The easy answer of course is to just take edibles, the problem with that is that about 90% of them have had zero effect on me. I once had chocolates that worked, and Delta-8 (not proud of it) gummies I got from my old job at a smoke shop that worked as well. Other than those two, I’ve eaten over 50 edibles in my life and cannot remember a single other one working. I’ve eaten entire bags of 200mg and brownies totaling 1000mg. I don’t know if it’s my enzymes, I’m an extremely skinny guy and I’ve heard that can have some effect. Regardless, I trued another 60mg today and felt absolutely nothing.

If I have to accept this as my new normal, I can come to terms with it. It does objectively suck and I really wouldn’t like to lose this part of my life. Anyone that has had experience with any other alternate forms of THC, I’d love to hear about it. Especially if edibles aren’t very effective to you.

TL;DR- Does anyone have any experience with edibles not working but found an alternative such as lozenges or tinctures, and is it worth giving them a try under my circumstances?

Not really lmao, but I spent all high reading about general relativity. Now I that I'm sober I'm seriously thinking about picking up a book or two about the topic.

She smokes daily but only a few hoots at a time. Only wants joints as part of her relax ritual. I feel like I've mastered the art of rolling pinners. This is a pretty satisfying handful.

I’m an everyday smoker, and typically smoke flower at home. Out and about I’ve always had a pen of some kind. I’d like to switch to dry herb but honestly don’t know anything about it really so if anyone could help a brother out I’d appreciate it. I don’t mind spending a little as long as I get durability, I’m a blue-collar person, and the amount of broken penjamins I’ve laid to rest is tear-worthy lol.

Rolled my first ever backwood today and it also happens to be my first blunt too. Ended up a little skinnier than I thought but smoked decent enough. Also became a little loose toward the end and difficult to get a good pull. Anybody have any pointers?

I’ve recently noticed a BIG uptick in toxicity here. Lots of bashing people in comments, trying to flex, calling people dumb or young and stupid.

What the hell is going on? When did this elitist, negative, generally fucking lame attitude start?

We’re all just folks who enjoy some good old weed. For example, I’m 36, I keep it old school and only smoke flower. Do I partake in gas station THCa carts? Nope. Will I judge you for it? Absolutely not.

We need to do a better job here. Stop being so condescending. Stop being fucking rude to strangers. Stop judging other people.

The only thing you can judge is the cleanliness of someone’s piece lol. (Clean your shit).
