Threw on the "Celtics" jersey and wanted to get this down clean before his birthday today and before he cuts his hair.

We all know Adam Jones is more of a tone/effect genius than a shredder. But in 7empest, he combines both together beautifully

Paul points at Adam (I guess...) and then gestures something... I love music, but I'm not a very technical guy. Is he gesturing to a sound mixer on the side of the stage, asking them to turn Adam up in his monitor because he needs to hear him better, or the opposite, that Adam is way too loud? Or is it something else? Please let me know what you think.

Tool is known for its heavy, dark, and complex sound, but there are specific tracks (or middle sections) that feel deeply meditative, uplifting, or spiritually soothing.
Which song or specific moment in their discography brings you that feeling of inner peace or emotional well-being?

i've noticed that ænima is the only album where the drum mix is in the perspective of audience. (meaning hi hat is on the right and ride is on the left. ) I thought that the producer might have something to do with it and maybe because this is the first album with david bottril but lateralus the next album with bottril, the drums are mixed in the drummers perspective. (hi hat on left, ride on right) does anyone know why this is?

I’m creating posters from scratch of every tool album and I need advice on my 10,000 days poster. I feel as if something is missing and any advice would be helpful, once the poster is done it will be available for free download

Right around the 20:55 mark, when she says "Not long after this, the conservative activist Charlie Kirk is killed."
I listen to podcasts at 2x and maybe I'm a little crazy, but that sure does sound like the Salival version of "Pushit" to me.

It's way harder than it seems. Why would you do it? It feels like I'm listening to some parts for the first time again, catching newer details I missed before.

Dune and Tool go together like ethnobotany and psychedelics, which is to say, the more familiar you are with the one, the more you will get intimations of the other.
