Bring Ya Ass LeBron James reportedly asked Anthony Edwards what would happen if he didn’t join him in Minnesota. Ant reportedly said he’d be okay because he’s going to tear LeBron’s head off every time they play each other (Via @JonKrawczynski )
Wow

Bring Ya Ass This is the Ant we need
Definitely had a slower start but made some great shots, played great defense, and most importantly shared the ball and made great passes. This feels like it’ll be a level up series from the young pup, flirting with a triple double could easily be the new norm if he stays focused and trusts his teammates.

Bring Ya Ass Chris Finch on KFAN: ""We do know that if we keep extending this playoff series, [Ant] is going to come back. And he generally comes back ahead of the timeline."
Heard this live and it has been picked up by media like Charlie Walton at ZoneCoverageMN.
Based on his comments and analysis I've seen on social, Ant returning in the middle of Round 2 is in the cards.

Bring Ya Ass I have absolutely unreasonable expectations for this Wolves team and I refuse to apologize
Ant with a full-time playmaker. LaMelo throwing passes that have no business being completed. Jaden locking fools tf up. Big Ru doing Big Ru things. Kuminga living at the rim. Twin turbos. Unleashing Joan.
Obviously there's a lot to figure out, but this team has the potential to be one of the most fun to watch in the league AND I CANT FUCKING WAIT!!!
So what are y’all thinking?
What's the thing you're most excited to see this season?
What's your bold prediction that everyone will think is insane right now?
Should we start putting our chairs and blankets out to save our spots on the parade route?
Whatever happens I’m ready to ride with our DAWGS! Lfg! AWWWOOOOOOOO 🐺🐺🐺

Bring Ya Ass [Amick] Even Edwards’ worst moment of this postseason, that R-rated comment he made to a Lakers fan during Game 1 that led to a $50k fine from the NBA, had a nuanced subtext that was seen as a positive in some Timberwolves circles [...] was noticed and appreciated within the Timberwolves locker room
Even Edwards’ worst moment of this postseason, that R-rated comment he made to a Lakers fan during Game 1 that led to a $50,000 fine from the NBA, had a nuanced subtext that was seen as a positive in some Timberwolves circles. The impetus for his ire had everything to do with Minnesota big man Rudy Gobert, who was being chastised by the fan when Edwards decided to step in and take over the exchange. His style was distasteful and inappropriate, to be sure, but the choice to protect a teammate who is so routinely mocked by fans and opposing players alike (see below) was noticed and appreciated within the Timberwolves’ locker room.
The fact that the Timberwolves gave almost zero thought to the prospect of swapping the 23-year-old Edwards for the (then) 25-year-old Dončić speaks volumes about their level of belief in the player Edwards will become. And that strategy, headed by president of basketball operations Tim Connelly and backed by new owners Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore, is looking more and more sound by the day.

Bring Ya Ass It’s not over. We ain’t dead yet
I get it. Watching us get 40-pieced by a 7-foot alien and a bunch of role players while Ant is hobbling around was brutal. It was embarrassing. But some of you are acting like the series is over because we lost by a lot. Do you guys not know your NBA history?
Go look up the "Memorial Day Massacre" in 1985. The Lakers got destroyed by 34 points in Game 1 of the Finals against the Celtics. Kareem looked washed. Everyone said they were done. Guess what? They won the next game and won the series in 6.
Look at the 2013 Finals. The Heat got absolutely waxed by the Spurs in Game 3. Lost by 36 points. LeBron looked lost. It looked like the Spurs had figured them out completely. The Heat came back and won the title.
And for the people with short memories, look at US last year. We beat OKC by 42 points in the Western Conference Finals. We absolutely embarrassed them. Did they quit? No. They adjusted, they came back, and they unfortunately won the series.
Blowouts are statistical outliers. They don't carry over. Whether you lose by 1 or 38, it counts as one L. We split the road trip. We have home court. Stop being soft, get to the Target Center on Friday, and scream until your lungs give out.
Wolves in 6. Awoo 🐺

Bring Ya Ass This is what Minnesota looks like. 6 seed, banged up, nobody’s pick, and we just walked into San Antonio and took Game 1.
This team is genuinely special and I don’t think people understand that yet. They are a special, resilient group and I’m so proud of them.
6 seed. Banged up all season. Everyone picked Denver. We won the series. Everyone picked San Antonio. We just stole Game 1 in their building.
Nobody picks us. And honestly? I think this team feeds off it at this point.
This is Minnesota. This is what we are. We just keep showing up.
WOLVES IN 4!

Bring Ya Ass [Krawczynski] McDaniels on the Wolves playing their best when the urgency is highest: “I think it’s going to come through full force, everyone is going to be ready to play, you can tell by today… Just being together, as long as we’re together I feel like we can beat anybody”
Let's get hype 💪
