I live in the Philly area and I have a few songs I want to make into an alt rock/pop EP with Paramore, The Warning, Olivia Rodrigo vibes and would love to find and connect with any music producers who want to go on this journey with me!

A little bit about the project: I’m a trans (FTM) man currently a few months into transitioning and think it’d be cool to record this all as my voice gets progressively deeper. It’s an EP exploring all the ups and downs and complications and nuances of medically transitioning as a 25-year-old man.

I work 40 hours per week and I live 2 hours from campus. I’m an accounting major, and when I first applied, I was told it’s possible that I can finish online as long as I’m flexible (which I am). I’m
only taking two classes per semester. I called advising before the semester even started and told them that I need to take my classes online and asked about being coded as virtual instead of main campus and they said they actually prefer it if i’m main. My advisor said in an email that the online sections are restricted but then later said the classes I’m trying to take are not offered online (Cost and Risk). Cost Accounting was offered this semester online and I remember being told that intro to risk is offered online but the upper level classes aren’t. I have gone back and forth with my advisor and at this point idk what to do. My registration opens thursday and I cannot get into online sections. Has anyone else had this happen?

Alright Ik on their website they say, " Students can upload their transcripts in their portal and complete the self-report; this is preferred."

But like all the colleges I know, they make you send transcripts through Parchment. I'm homeschooled, and I really don't want to pay the 60 bucks on top of the $55 application fee to send my stuff through Parchment.

So is it really that simple to just send your official transcripts through your portal? Idk if anyone knows the answer, but thank you!

Now that enough time has passed and they cut it out I now feel like I can post about the white couple that for weeks would be posted up at the Anti Racism Center in Mazur doing wayyyyy too much PDA 😭😭 And I’m not trying to say they were doing anything inherently wrong I just found it humorous on my way to class every day.

actually wanna cry guys cuz why are there soooo many terms to know. I just wanna see how you guys are studying for this exam ... Any help would be great... They did give us a study guide but they said it isnt comprehensive so I am wondering whats missing from it.

We submitted the application as soon as they opened the application window and still have not heard back from the admission office.... And the class registration is opening soon, I'm afraid all the good classes will be filled immediately....

Has anyone already received an answer for the spring semester transfer?

So uh im failing this one class HORRIBLY at 21%, I have work and so most of the time i dont attend their classes and because of other things in life I havent been doing their assignments either.

I have also been failing other classes but i made up their assignment quickly and went from a 0% to 80% easily (one class though im at 63% but with enough work i can get 70 which is passing)

This class to me is confusing because I dont know what im supposed to do and I cant make up work since they lock it and worse some of the questions are based on what happened in class and gotten a 68% (counted 7 questions) and there were 22 questions so that math was right ;(

I had some questions about the admission requirements to go to Temple university . I am currently a year 13 student in a school that follows the Cambridge curriculum and I was wondering if I could get in only on my high school diploma. And I also haven’t taken the IGCSE AS or A levels and I do not intend to. I’ve also got A 120 on my DET. So If anyone knows or has been admitted with what I have I would love to know more. I’ve also already applied for early action and I plan to take computer science do my first year at the Japan campus (because I’ve already seen and loved it) and my remaining 3 years at the Philadelphia campus.

I am trying to take MATH 2031 in Spring, but there is only one section open with 60 seats at 9 am. Is it normal for the Math department to open up more sections?

Hey everyone, a few weeks back I toured temple center city campus on one of the open house days. I will say, it was a lovely tour, I loved the school, I loved the layout. But I noticed it seems quite dead, for the amount of money you pay in tuition and room and board at temple I’m not sure id want to go to a school that’s dead, with dorms that are half a damn shoebox’s.

I recently toured a large out of state land grant, and the campus was much more alive, more students walking around and interacting.

Anyway; just can you confirm or deny, is temple that dead? Especially on weekends?

sorry i know im probably annoying with this post, but i applied here last night and my gpa is kinda low (2.6) so im worried i wont get in. i struggled a lot in sophmore and junior year with terrible anxiety, which i explained in a short essay and my counselor will be writing a letter of recommendation. i also went to a different school freshman year and was really struggling mentally and academically because of the little support provided, which i also explained on the application. i live in the suburbs of philly so im not out of state or anything

I would like to know if anyone knows how the math department is doing right now.
I plan to apply (this cycle) to the math PhD program at Temple. I read unvalidated claims that last year they took no students, so I decided to check in here and see if anyone knows the status and how the department is doing.

I’m looking for any information or opinions (besides the obvious thing of trying to understand if and how many students they will take). As some of you probably know, it’s hard to get info about lesser known departments, so even if you’re not in grad school but are aware of the current situation in the department, it can be helpful (if there are many undergrad students, I guess there are more TA options, or if you are an undergrad student in the department, it would also be good to hear from you).

Does anyone know if any quizzes get dropped for your final grade? I just flunked a quiz and it really ruined my grade.
