Is this how we treat our NHS staff?
My mum, who is a nurse, returned to her car after working a night shift to find this note left on her windscreen.
For context, she was parked completely legally on a public road, without obstructing any driveways, entrances or access.
I completely understand that parking can be frustrating for local residents, particularly those living near a hospital, but is this really how we should be treating the people who spend their days and nights caring for others?
NHS staff already work incredibly demanding hours, and surely a little kindness and consideration isn’t too much to ask. We have reported this to the council, who have since passed it on to the police due to the threatening nature of the letter.
If anyone else has received this note, or something similar, I would encourage you to report it too. Nobody should feel intimidated for parking legally on a public street.
