So recently I 3d printed my self some quad night vision goggles for my helmet on my tactical cosplay, but of course I can't quite print the lenses. I was wondering if anyone would have suggestions for what I could use for the lenses that won't break the bank too much. It doesn't have to be functional in the sense that I can see through it.

Basically what I'm looking to do is have a giant pumpkin head with lights inside that glow and dim in response to my voice. I got a blackout mask and the Pumpkin head, I just need to figure out what would be good lights to work with this effect. I'm hoping to use a bluetooth mic set up with the lights so i can take the Pumpkin head off and still have it glow in reactive to my voice but 0 know-how to set this up and 0 idea what to buy for it. Any advice is helpful

This is veering into costumes but started out as a pure prop. Making a couple dementors for the Highschool play. Stands over 7 feet with glowing red eyes.

I have an idea of some style shots inspired from ChainsawMan.
I was thinking about using long chainsaw chains or at least a roller chain, that would wrap around the model and lay on the ground.

The problem is, the these chains are pretty short for this task, pretty expensive and sharp (chainsaw type).
I tried to find some photos / cosplays that uses these, but I failed.
I could use simple chains, but this would be the last resort.

So, I am looking for some advices:
- Has anyone tried using such chains as props? How did it work?
- Has anyone seen any good examples of photos / cosplays that use such chains? I want to see if it's worth it.
- Are there other alternatives? Am I missing something?

Made of EVA foam and PVC pipes, hollow so it can be as light as possible. I'm still learning how to paint, so my paint job might look a bit dull.

Hello! I’m designing my own Green Lantern ring, and I am learning zbrush for the first time. I want to be able to insert a micro LED and the appropriate wiring into it. Does anyone know a good software for doing that with 3D files? I apologize if this is the incorrect subreddit, thank you!

I'm looking for the above to use as temporary photography props. I've had a look for some but I'm struggling to find a keyboard and screen connected together. I don't know how to connect them myself, so full cases would be preferred but I don't necessarily need a working device.

Does anyone know where I can find something like this, please?

Hi there,

A friend of mine is directing a play that has a lot of smoking and references to smoking. He’d ideally like to do something odourless as it’s a small venue and doesn’t want to put audiences off.

We’ve identified that the look of the burning cigarette, it decreasing in size and being able to stub it out is more important than the actors being able to do a convincing puff.

I’ve only used vapes & herbals in the past, but has anyone ever used / made anything that burns in a convincing way without it being an actual smelly cigarette?

Anyone know how to make this steel watch band from Starlite Studios look better either via weathering or should I refinish the chrome look? I thought about making it black chrome instead if it’s original look or making it look battle worn after so many years of use.
