For those who stay in the east/take 1.5 to 2 hours to travel to school, do you regret not staying in hall? Is it very tiring, and how do you make the most out of your time?

Thinking of withdrawing from hall this sem, but I'm worried that my timetable for next sem may require me to travel to ntu 4 days a week... and it takes me close to 2 hours to travel to school

Got a bunch of OpenCerts from NTU now (degree + some module certs) and honestly they're scattered all over my email and Drive 😅
How do you store yours? And has anyone actually had to send one to an employer — did they even know what to do with the file?

TLDR; it's only sem 1 and I fked up the class test pretty bad, missed 2 classes, now I feel like my life is over for this one module (so dramatic I know LOL.) It's really been a wake up call for me though. I've never been this stressed before in my life until I moved to sg ugh any suggestions here or is it too late now😭😭😭

So I just did my SC2207 In Class Activity and there were so many cheaters, just people using their phone to cheat in the exams, I was honest so why should I be at a disadvantage. Stop cheating and be honest. At NTU online tests, it's either the website sucks or the students cheat, this time the website is very good but the students just do not care about being honest.

Hi all, I know grades get moderated and cutoffs differ each semester, but for those who’ve taken SC1006, SC2001 or SC2005, roughly what mark (out of 100) ended up being the C cutoff? Even a ballpark like “mean was ~65, C was around 50” helps. Thanks!

- currently year 2

- cbe with 2nd major in data analytics

- low cgpa of 3.34

- only 18au for credit transfer

I really want to go for semester exchange aka gem explorer, but I was told that lab courses cannot be included in credits transfer, which means that i will have to complete 2 lab courses either b4 or after my exchange
base on the recommended study plan, i have lab every sem and most likely would have to overload if i were to go for exchange

would like to hear from senior's advice on whether it is worth it to go for exchange and how was you journey
