Twilight is mean; she’s a little girl and doesn’t understand—nor does she want to understand—things that “don’t make sense” to her. The thing is, Trixie is “stealing” her only friend (or rather, the only one who tolerates and admires Twilight), and that’s why she’s mean to her.

If Trixie had been a zebra or any other species, Twilight would have used that against her to hurt her just the same, because from her childish perspective (because here she’s a child—a little, spoiled girl), Trixie is the bad, terrible, and wrong character in the story.

I hate having to explain this because it ruins all the magic of you analyzing the work I write, but I won’t tolerate being accused of transphobia just because one of my characters is mean to a trans person.

Twilight is getting a bad rap here for many reasons, but people are only focusing on the most eye-catching one. Believe me, there's a lot more to it than just “cheap, edgy transphobia.”

Drawing some pride flag ponies to overcome my art block. Buuuut I wanna do more, so I'm also taking suggestions!

I know the name Woah Nelly is hated by some people, as a very fat gal, I adore it and will call her that. 💜

Lore: Nelly wasn't always confident. As a filly, she was teased and it really messed with her. Not just for her weight but for her short horn making her magic lacking. She slowly found friends and eventually realized that she is amazing. Her magic is weak but her stamina is as massive as her heart. That day she earned her cutie mark. She now spreads her confidence and positivity to others.

Even though she didn't get the princess dress, she was able to find the perfect dress for her that day.

She is also dating a pegasus~

My favs are Rarity in Hondo flank's Color palette! What are yours?

My favourite is probably Rarity. If there wasn't already a purple pony in the mane cast, I'd have loved for this to be her canon design.

My least favourite is either Spike or Fluttershy. For spike, the purple horns clash with the rest of his colours, and Fluttershy looks so much more basic, like the many pink-and-yellow background ponies
