Using the new cushions I tried to recreate some recognizable Vitra Design chairs in minecraft.

Here are some builds from my base, some are still wip!

Designed to be an imposing landmark for a custom biome in my fantasy map. It would also make a cool nether hub

This took me around 35hours to build

Lately I’ve been tinkering with trains in Create: Steam ‘n’ Rails, tried to recreate trains and locomotives from Indonesia. So I decided to make a proper train station. The architecture itself is Japanese, and it’s actually inspired by Dutch Colonial architecture in Indonesia.

History fun fact: Indonesia, The Netherlands, and Japan, have shared a history together; The Netherlands have made contacts from just trading to colonization ever since the 1500s. Then in 1942, Japan arrived and occupied Indonesia. The Netherlands have left many architectural legacy, and some of them are still standing strong today.

So I decided to “switch” that story and bring it into this build: what if the Japanese are the one who’ve made longer contact with Indonesia, and instead of Dutch colonial architectures, there’s Japanese architecture instead.

I’ve left the color palette used in my build to still resembles that Dutch colonial architecture: pristine white walls, with darker gray roofs.

Note that this is a modded build and not Vanilla. Also, some elements are not my original design, I collected a few references and make a new one according to my need.

This took hours, but it was worth the effort.

The images start from outside the castle walls, then go to the tavern, then the interior, a peasant igloo, then the blacksmith shop, then the interior, then the Inn, then the interior, then the keep, the main hall, war table, Treasury, Treasury interior, Grand throne room, and finally, the King's Quarters.

Haven't seen anyone come up with this yet I hope I'm the first. Should really enhance nature builds! (simply place the cushion on 6 layers of snow then replace snow with flower)

This Minecraft portrait depicts American figure skater and 2026 Olympic champion Alysa Liu.

The new cushions were used for her face: black cushions for her eyes; red cushions for her lips; and white cushions for her teeth. For her iconic halo hair, where she adds a new stripe each year, like how trees grow a ring yearly, it is represented by customized banners.

I tried playing Minecraft slower than my usual phase especially this is hardcore. After 100+ days, I haven't even gone to the nether yet, but I think I finally finished my starter base/area.

Edit: I'm proud of what I built here, too bad I'm now getting downvoted for calling this a starter base. My point is that the first house on the right is my real starter home, I just expanded it later. That's why I call this my started base/area
