u/g5s6g Dec 15 '23
Cynthia and I don’t really know why
But out of the people that were on the show more than 4 times: Lloyd because I love how overly dramatic he is lol

Lloyd: “My self worth is at an all time high.” (Stares off into the distance)
5
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
And then a few scenes later he says “who am I kidding” and just starts baling his eyes out😂

No love for Eraserhead?
4
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
I completely forgot to add him, he was a very underrated krelboyne though.

u/SparkAxolotl Dec 15 '23
Cynthia! I love how she was so... Herself all the time, and unashamedly so. I would have loved if she had had more episodes, she bounced off really well with Malcolm and Reese.
So sad that Lois ended up disappearing her after she knew Malcolm was happy with her.

Cynthia cuz I’m a girl
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
When I was younger I liked cynthia just because I had a crush on her😂 have you seen her now??
2
u/SonnyJoon Dec 15 '23
Omg for some reason I thought the actress was dead but I was confusing her for her dying as a character on a show oops. Thanks how good she is 💯

u/CrysisRequiem Dec 15 '23
Why......Stevie......?
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
Stevie’s sarcastic, and funny personality always made me laugh. The pauses he took between his breaths, how he always straightened malcolm out. And his personalitytransformation after season 1 and 2😂

u/falken01 Dec 15 '23
Barton
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
I wish I could pin comments, so underrated even for that one episode where he figured out richie didn’t do it mannn😂 I forgot to add him

I wish Flora got more screen time, she was interesting.
Otherwise, my favorite Krelboyne is Lloyd.
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
Flora? I don’t recall a krelboyne like that, who were they?
1
u/QuontonBomb Jan 21 '25
She was a redheaded girl with glasses. I don't think she had any lines of her own. She was just an extra.

One of my favourite lines from Dabney in Malcolm’s Girlfriend
“And how can you look in those eyes and say no to anything he asks” sigh
2
u/deathbyglamor Dec 15 '23
Lloyd and that other little boy that got removed. I don’t remember his name but he had some good one liners
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
Eraserhead I believe? He was funny for the short time he was there😂

u/OkSupermarket802 Dec 15 '23
Dabney after that paintball scene.
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
I’m rewatching the show, and I recently just saw that scene. The way his mother reacted to his new personality was funny😂
2
u/patrickbatemanvibe Dec 15 '23
I'm so happy I grew up watching this and this sub is still active with quotes ❤️
2
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
It truly is heartwarming. Even though I was born in 08, and wasn’t even alive when the show was made or ended. I still watched this show when I was 7 on Netflix, and I’m rewatching it now. It’s just so nice to see how many people loved this show.

Shame she was only in 3 eps, her and Malcolm had a good dynamic

u/Himalaya_Joe Dec 15 '23
It's at least 4
When she first arrives When she organized a party When she came back after being away and Reece wanted to see her boobs First day at high school.
But crazy how she feels like almost a main character.
They really didn't use the Krelboynes enough after season 3.
9
u/Zestyclose_Button_76 Dec 15 '23
It was really annoying how she was no longer seen after that, and I really wonder why.
13
u/Himalaya_Joe Dec 15 '23
After that episode there was Dabney's birthday, academic decathlon, then Lloyd in the episode where Lois gives birth then non of them were ever seen again apart from Stevie.
It is strange why they all stopped getting used.
18
u/PartyPoison98 Dec 15 '23
Yup I just double checked, it was 4.
And you're right about the krelboynes for sure, other than Stevie.

7
u/theLoveRocketjr Dec 15 '23
4. 1st one is the episode when you meet her. 2nd is when she throws a party. The 3rd one is when she comes back from Europe, and the 4th is when the whole gang enters Highschool, and Malcolm attempts to cut ties with them to become popular.

Dabney! His relationship with his mother cracks me up.

“Mom bought me this cologne for when I go to parties, poor deluded woman.” 😂

“Why do I have to be the one?!”
“Because you look the most pathetic in a swim suit.”
(Look of acknowledgement)

Dabney and Lloyd are the Lenny and Carl of malcolm in the middle.

I love them all but Dabney gives one of my favorite lines: “how about bitter, sarcastic, and handsome!”

Lloyd had that extra bit of confidence, or at least it seemed that way next to Dabney. And when he joined a new group during that episode Cliques, I loved how he went goth. Also so weird how he was just there when Lois was giving birth to Jaime

Lloyd : Excuse me, can someone help me find Malcolm's bio-chem notes? I need them to do my assignment.
Lois : Get out of here, Lloyd! I'm in labor! I'm about to give birth!
Lloyd : ... It's a really important assignment.

Lloyd and it isn't even close. Dabney had his moments but his character seemed a bit sensationalized and forced at times. Lloyd was always cocky and hilarious.

Malcolm. He was inteligent but not really weird like the others were. I liked to much the episode when they were fighting for be the number one. And malcolm won.

Lloyd was just the right mix of overly confident and insecure. I think he stole every scene he was in. He was hilarious!

Dabney "acting normal" outside the hotel room while on a swimming suit will never get old.

Easy Lloyd, he’s also very hot now

Lloyd. When they were at the Krelboyne picnic and his braces made him face plant into his own magnet lol

Definitely Cynthia. Her character was incredible and what rose my respect for her even more was when she literally destroyed her own reputation to stop Malcolm from going to military school.

I loved Stevie and hated all the others.
1
u/100yearswar Dec 15 '23
You must’ve hated a lot of episodes.
1
u/amymelissa95 Dec 15 '23
I suppose hate is a bit harsh. I just found them irritating. The krelboyne focused episodes weren't my favourites, but I still found them funny.
2
u/usagi27 Dec 15 '23
I wonder what the Krelboynes would be up to in 2023. What would they be doing for a career, did they ever manage to start families? 🤔
2
Dec 15 '23
Lloyd and Dabney definitely became rich and lost it all to crypto
1
u/usagi27 Dec 17 '23
I can see that. I guess if there was a modern take on the Krelboynes, they’d def fall into the crypto bro trap
2
Dec 18 '23
Except Stevie. I feel like he would have sold at the perfect moment and become a multimillionaire
2
u/Himalaya_Joe Dec 15 '23
I like Dabney for his terrible attempt at trash talking Cynthia when she comes back to school.

2
u/Just-Front9742 Jan 26 '24
Dabney is not my favorite, but here is a good place to say that he deserved so much better. I hope by last episode he was able to move out and live on his own
3
u/DeadGravityyy Dec 15 '23
Herkabe, his passive-aggressive chemistry with Malcom was always fun to watch.
