trying to keep myself busy so i donāt spiral waiting for my october score, so i figured Iād share this here. october was my third lsat. i got a 146 and a 149 last year and honestly, i was pretty devastated. english is my second language and this whole process has been rough.
i took a three-month break to figure out whether i still wanted to go to law school and put myself through this test again. started studying again in february, worked through more prep materials and did a ton of drills. pretty sure i cried almost every week lol. whenever my period hit iād give myself two or three days off.
i kept pushing my test date back. first june, then august. then i canceled august because i still didnāt feel ready. i came really close to giving up. more crying. somewhere along the way i started letting this test convince me i was useless. but i did end up taking october.
the testing situation wasnāt great. there was this constant noise and they wouldnāt let me switch seats. i think it threw me off during the first lr section. but I got through every rc passage and every lr question. i even had five minutes left for the last two questions in the second lr section and rc didnāt feel as difficult as iād expected.
obviously i have no idea what my score is yet. but i think i deserve to be proud of myself. i kept coming back even when i felt discouraged and wanted to quit. that has to count for something! whatever score i get iām going to try to accept it without letting it erase all the work i put in.
good luck to everyone. if youāve been struggling too i hope this makes you feel a little less alone :)
