Cet escalator qui permet de rejoindre le m1 en descendant au Flon du m2 direction Ouchy est encore en panne. Je crois qu'en une année, il est plus en panne qu'en opération. Et c'est toujours celui qui monte et pas celui qui descend qui est en panne !!

To provide some context: I’m 18, I’m Spanish, and I attend a school for foreigners—so I don’t speak French. There are no Swiss people at my school, nor anyone else who speaks Spanish.

Since I arrived, all I’ve done is try to learn French. Naturally, I can’t communicate with the people at my school because they don’t speak Spanish or French—which is why I’ve turned to Reddit! XD

I am a third year student at unine, doing my bachelors in biology. I started by doing my first year in medecine, that i failed (harsh selection, + i was hardly ready for university, much less medecine lol).
Well right now, i am choosing my Masters. I'll probably be starting a masters in medical biology at Unil, but I do miss medecine a lot, and have been hesitating to try this passerelle (not this year, as it seems like it is a little bit too late to learn so much material in addition to my bachelors, but next year, while doing my masters).
But before I decide to do it, i have a few questions.
Firstly, i know they don't really like to say how many people pass, and how many people try. does anyone have any infomation on that?
Secondly, I heard about a discord group, with all the work that i would need to access. does anyone have a link to that?
And lastly, how is it, for people who have done it?
As i've already done 2 years of medecine, my bachelors in biology, and a possible masters, i feel like restarting in third year, especially for long studies like medecine, will be too much and too long? does anyone have experience with that feeling?

Hi, we are pivoting on a European vacation over the Christmas holidays and are now considering Switzerland, including Lausanne. As a note, we are a family of 4 with (2) elementary school-aged children. I researched that the city hosts a beautiful Christmas market (Bô Noël) and I see Glacier 3000 as a recommended day trip. What other options are good for sight seeing this time of year in and around Luausanne? We are thinking that we would stay 2 nights/2 days, before heading to another city.

DeRham might just be single-handedly the worst Regie in all of Lausanne perhaps Switzerland.

Terrible customer service, all the women who work there seemed to hate their life and job. They NEVER call you back and just treat all their clients like shit.

Ma compagne commence un stage à Lausanne début janvier et on aimerait s’y installer ensemble. De mon côté, je suis français, tout juste diplômé ingénieur (en alternance), et je cherche un premier emploi, mais pour l’instant ça n’avance pas beaucoup.

Je pensais venir dès décembre pour chercher un appart pour nous deux et trouver un petit boulot en attendant un poste d’ingénieur : café, restauration, vente… J’ai aucune expérience dans ces domaines, donc je ne sais pas trop si c’est réaliste de trouver rapidement.

Pour ceux qui connaissent le coin, vous feriez comment à ma place ?

• Est-ce que ça vaut le coup de venir sur place pour chercher du travail, ou mieux vaut avoir signé quelque chose avant de déménager ?
• Pour l’appart, est-ce qu’on a une chance avec son contrat de stage et moi sans emploi pour le moment ? Ou mieux vaut commencer par une chambre ou une sous-location ?

Je devrais payer un logement dès mon arrivée, donc j’hésite à venir un mois avant si c’est pour dépenser mes économies sans que ça aide vraiment.

EDIT : Quelques précisions : je cherche déjà un emploi en Suisse depuis plusieurs mois et j'ai trois ans d'expérience en alternance chez Airbus dans le cadre de mon diplôme d'ingénieur.

Ma compagne fait un stage de fin de master avec normalement un doctorat à la suite, donc notre projet est de nous installer durablement à Lausanne.

Pour le logement, on va privilégier les solutions proposées par son stage. Et au vu des retours, je pense finalement la rejoindre en janvier plutôt que de venir dès décembre.

We’re developing Dispoo, an app designed to help students find flexible jobs that work around their studies.

We’re still at the very beginning, so we don’t want to assume we know what students need. We’d rather hear it directly from you.

We’ve also put together a short survey to help us understand your needs. Since we’re a small student-led project, your feedback can genuinely influence how we build Dispoo and which features we prioritise.
