Yeah, after actually holding the form factor in my hand, I think I’m sold on it

I went and 3D printed an exact replica of the Duo, and it basically swayed me.

One hand operation in folded mode is perfect, I can reach every corner of the screen with my thumb whereas on my 14 pro id have to adjust a bit to get to the top. Two handed typing feels a little roomier with the added width.

When unfolded, it feels great in both landscape and portrait modes. I really like the iPad mini form factor but I see myself rarely picking up my iPad mini 6 just because I don’t want to carry around a second device.

Thickness wise, it’s about the exact same thickness as my 14 pro with a case on, so my worries about bulkiness are also gone.

Of course, the one exception is the price. I’m hoping for some good carrier trade in deals, and combining it with selling my mini 6 and writing off a portion of it as a business expense since I run an Etsy shop and 90% of the work I do for it runs off of my phone.
