AMA ❓ Indian living in Brno, Czech Republic for 6+ years 🇮🇳🇨🇿 — AMA!

Post image

Ahoj everyone! 👋

I'm from India and have been living in Brno for over 6 years now.

Life here has been quite an experience, and I've had my fair share of figuring things out along the way — from work and the cost of living to the culture, language, and everyday life in Czechia.

If you're curious about life here, thinking of moving to Brno, or just wondering how things compare to India, feel free to ask me anything!

I'll share my personal experiences, both the good and the not-so-good. 🙂

What's it like living in that region of Russia? I've seen some videos where people say it's a bit dangerous, is that true or just a generalization?

Thinking about moving there to go to school. The town seems pretty cool and nature around it looks really awesome. I’m from SoCal and haven’t lived in the cold before. Are the winters bad?

Seems like an interesting place and maybe not typical of the Deep South. How’s life there?

North America How's it Living In Chicago, IL?

I just recently visited and absolutely loved it. I'm 17 and want something new/less dull compared to West Michigan. Just trying to see the potential options for when I'm ready. I was wondering what it's like to live there. How's the weather, jobs, housing, food, transportation, etc? Is it relatively affordable? I'd like to go into the tech career field (likely IT or or data center tech) and I'm wondering if Chicago would be a good place for that.

I've got a job offer there and need to make a quick decision.

More interested in lifestyle over prices as it pays considerably well.

These islands and the waters around them look incredibly interesting to me. Does any one here live there or have you lived there before and can you tell me more about life in the region?

How would you compare these two counties? Are they mostly similar or are there vast differences? What are the best towns within each county? For anyone who grew up here, what's it like? Is there any sort of significant growth in this area? If so, in what ways are these places growing? I'm considering northern Michigan and mainly looking at these two areas.

I find it kinda enormous and can’t imagine how big this is. I found that it can only be properly seen from space, and conspiracy theorists love claiming it's the lost city of Atlantis. What is actual daily life like there? Specifically in Ouadane or the surrounding desert towns

North America Halloween

I’m in Midlothian at Old Gun & Robious. You are in an amazing place for Halloween!!! 🎃 I live in a lovely neighborhood in the suburbs and I give to everyone including the parents!!! But when our lights go out at 9-9:30-ish that’s their non-verbal signal to no longer knock. We also moved a table to the end of our driveway to make it easier for all to get their treats without having to run from place to place. We put music on to and dance a lot. Lastly, we have cars with families from other areas of the city come to our neighborhood. I welcome them all. They need safe places to trick-or-treat, too!!
Have an amazing time! You really live in such a fun area!!!
