Immediately started working on the prototype MK.II

You might have seen the janky MK.I from about 12 hours ago. Well, I played Ace Combat 8 with it and it sucked balls so after taking out the cargo ships and UAV's at the Space Elevator, I started work on the MK.II.

For the "rail" the handle slides on, I've improved it so that it doesn't pop out randomly anymore and just overall a lot more sturdy. The wire now sits deeper in the stick's actual throttle slider thing and connects to the popsicle sticks at a higher place so it's a lot more even. For the handle itself, I'm gonna forgo the handle for now, and just stick to the stick design because the plastic bottle was kinda clunky and not very stable, I might get foam clay or something to mold and sculpt a full handle but for now, this is the finished MK.II Prototype.

For the name, I'm just gonna call this "Project Rocket Pop".

Next step is a couple of bars securing it to the stick base so that movement doesn't throw out your spacing.

In all seriousness though: this is awesome! I have actually been thinking of investing in a throttle but have been struggling to come up with the cash... but I reckon I could do a twelve pack of paddlepops! Heck, you could use some of the last remnants of icecream on each stick as glue XD

Not willing to part with mine, but willing to print and ship anything this man needs (assuming shipping costs don't get too crazy)

That left hand seems well trained for speed.

MORE!

What if you sanded the sticks a bit? Do you th8nk that would improve anything?

Sand them and then scribble over them with a pencil. The graphite is a great dry lubricant
