I am not a slasher fan, but I will say I appreciate a well done horror movie. I'm into A24 horror (I knoooow I know, soooo artsy of me lol)

I also do love some of the classic. The OG Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Alien. For more modern, I def love The Strangers, Obession, Weapons, Sinners.

So I don't know WHAT type of horror I'm into, I sorta just end up seeing them. I can't tell you what I think is good / 'bad' horror. Of course, bad and good are subjective. But yeah. For me personally? I never know what I'm gonna like.

BUT the one I really am looking forward to is BUDDY. I love 90s nostalgia (my bedroom is Y2K theme) and I love the idea of a Barney type creature going crazy. I've been watching the marketing and it just looks so unique.

For those of us who were fans of The Guest, this is coming out on Friday in the US (we need to wait until December here in the UK...)
It's way more upfront about its melding of action and slasher genres. Dan Stevens does not play the same character as on The Guest, but he seems to be having a lot of fun scarfing down all of the scenery. Great to see Wingard & Barrett let loose with a smaller, (hopefully) more personal film.

I saw this at the recent Telluride Horror Show and when I say my jaw was on the fucking floor... Don't watch any trailers, don't read anything about it, just go in as blind as possible. It's probably one of my most favorite "oh HOLY SHIT" moments ever watching a movie. I swear to god if the Shudder info page gives it away, I will riot.

I'm so excited to see this again 😭 Shout-out to the director for answering our questions in the audience, you're rad!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I came across this on youtube. But, I think it looks really promising. Plus, it has Keith David in it. That is almost reason enough alone!

I personally think a new and upcoming director would be AWESOME. Considering Curry Barker's recent success, he wouldn't be outside of the realm of possibility for me, though I'm not sure he would get the keys to the franchise simply because Obsession isn't exactly the same style as NMOES. I do think an interesting one could be Zach Creggors. He's clearly got the skill to do it.

As for playing Freddy, I genuinely don't know who id like to see play it. I don't want it to be an A-lister because I would love to see someone take on the new face of Freddy and not associate an established actor with him. I'd love to see someone kick the door of Hollywood open for themselves as Freddy. But if I HAD to pick an established actor I would be very curious about Neil Patrick Harris. I think he's got a very interesting face and build for the role and I've always wanted to see him do another villain in the same lane as Count Olaf from A Series of Unfortunate Events.

But I don't know, what do you all think?!?!

Looking like this could be an Underworld level hit, with hopefully with better series longevity.

I have faith in Johnny Depp's comeback. I know he's doing A Christmas Story also, but I've seen that story too many times so I'm glad Day Drinker is an original story. And he's returning to Pirates of the Caribbean so it looks like he's about to be #1 again. 🥃

Got to see an early screening, and I gotta say I really enjoyed this movie. It does a good job playing up the children's show aspect while still being creepy. It's no masterpiece, but it is a very fun movie.

I always knew that the batman villains could be main characters in horror movies and the clayface movie looks very interesting, if you didnt saw the teser trailer I realy recomend it to you, and for the halloween period seems perfect.

We're in the final months of 2026 so what horror movies are yall looking forward to the most, before the new year? Next one on my list is Resident Evil. But im MOST excited for Werwulf!!!

I've heard that it got a new title “The Mummy: The Book of the Dead”. What a overkill...my god!

I'm worried that the two directors attached to this project would fail to make it a blockbuster hit with rightful critical accolades—just for following the trend of over-using CGI and not compensate it with Practical FX cleverly, unlike those two classic movies by Stephen Sommers we relished so much in our childhood days and keep going back to them still today.

And...oh...who is the cinematographer in this movie? Not only VFX plays a pivotal part here, On-Camera decisions make huge difference too.

They should by this point remember that it got two Academy Awards winner actors. Just gotta remind it now.
