I love this game so so much! The character creator for it is amazing, and it has so much cool armor and fashion. There’s so much room for creativity and expression.
A lot of pawns can feel kind of boring or over sexualized in ways that are very male-gaze/uncomfortable at times, and the few online spaces for the game aren’t the best, so I wanted to post here! So i am currently in the era I am ready to explore otome games.

Ideally looking with Fem protag and Male Love interest/s.

Would likely prefer something a bit more adulty so I am perfectly fine with NSFW content.

Platforms either steam or switch e shop. I prefer keeping all my games on the same platform and have very big trust issues when shopping outside my preferred platform. I would prefer games where i can pay once and play instead of having to buy currencies with real money.

Back in the day I absolutely adored maybe app as well as obey me series but I think maybe got discontinued last year and obey me shut down around 2020.

Now I know that theyre just miserable, just talking shit but every single game ive ever played where I am dps or anything OTHER than a healer I get shit talked, constantly. every single game i play. (like apex, overwatch, siege, etc)I know people always get shit talked all the timr in games like this but I KNOW i am not a good "gamer" even though ive played shooters all my life i am like unnaturally untalented at being a dps, I am a pretty good healer but thats about it... in any game ive ever played i always barely get more kills than deaths and because of that I have a very... low self esteem i guess so I always take comments about it to heart and cry almost every time... is there any way I can like fix this or should I just keep turning off chat every single time im not playing a healer..

I saw a post on cyberpunk game sub where posts about claire were being deleted just because she is trans. One of the mods posted and said they were horrified about posts being deleted because of this and they too were banned or something,if you want I can link out the sub reddit.. But honestly hating on a character just for being trans makes no sense. I'm also a trans woman and honestly I used to play cyberpunk when I literally didn't know I was trans fully, and believe I didn't even know she was trans. Maybe she tells in dialogue about her gender reassignment surgery but still maybe I missed that dialogue. Regardless I dont even care. She was just pretty and I liked it. This hate for trans characters ughhhh.... I feel like I understand why they hate trans women. It's because they consider women to just be an object and satisfy their lust and that's why they don't consider trans women as satisfying. This is indeed misogyny

i've been going back and forth on this because i like hearing people but also sometimes i just want to exist in a game without talking, and i'm curious what makes people choose one way or the other. is it a mood thing for you or do you have a preference?

I found out today from tik tok and im incredibly hyped. Of course theres been a magnitude of "dico likes" and recently zero parades(set the seas for this one),But this one i seem to have the highest hopes about. I visited the site and didn't want to read too much, but from what I've seen, it looks amazing.

Disco elysium deserves all the praise it gets, and it might be my favourite type of game. It's like visual novels + gameplay and that's the perfect mix. The art style, story, lore, worldbuilding, characters it's all so good. Which makes me all the more angry we couldn't get the locust city >:(

Anyways that's added to one of my most anticipated games. What do yall think of red rooster?

I have heard rumblings of people complaining about price hikes and game breaking bugs. But people will complain about any and everything most days.

As more info I have enjoyed playing Fallout 4 and New Vegas. So I know how jank Bethesda games can be.

Hey all. I wanted to see if others were having this issue too. I want to buy a Switch 2 Zelda console and Best Buy has been promoting a midnight launch. However it says at select locations. Every location I try comes up with no overnight hours. Either I have bad luck, there are very few locations going to be open at midnight, or the site has not been updated (still). Yes, I'll likely try in the morning at a variety of stores, but this could have been a fun adventure. I mean why advertise it if it's not really a thing? 🫤

I never played Maplestory as kid. I tried to when I was in college, and I didn't like the modern Maplestory. It was just too confusing for me, and too fast paced. I'm a mom now in my 30's, and when my husband told me about classic, I got super excited. (My husband is an OG Maplestory player).

The reason I got excited was that a) I get to experience a game I wanted to play when I was younger, and never did. And b) I get to play an mmo with my husband.

I actually don't mind the grind in Maplestory, and honestly I feel like leveling up doesn't feel that bad. Idk if it's because I'm used to playing JRPG's or farming games. I'm sure as I get higher up, the slower it's going to go.

The community also feels really welcoming. I've gotten help from other players, and have had helped others. I also think it's funny and cute that everyone is acting like it's the 2000's internet again.

I can't wait to see what else they update the game with. When and if they release the pirate class, I'm so going to make another character for it specifically.

I’m just a girl trying to carry my team, make some callouts, and enjoy my game. Instead, the second I open my mouth, suddenly everyone’s a comedian with the same three sexist jokes.

Like, genuinely, what the actual FUCK is wrong with some of these men? Imagine hearing a woman’s voice in a video game and immediately deciding to make her uncomfortable. The fact that grown men are comfortable saying that shit to complete strangers is actually disturbing.

Sir, you’re going 4-19. Maybe focus on getting a kill instead of making women uncomfortable.

I can handle trash talk. I’ve been playing COD long enough to dish it right back. But there’s a difference between talking shit and being an absolute creep because a woman dared to use her microphone.

I made the mistake of playing the demo for Final Fantasy Resonance because I grew up on those games, but immediately they were having heaving boob physics even on little pixel characters and I simply could not. Not judging anybody else who felt different, but I’m just tired.

It’s become a bigger problem bc ive been getting into games where I DO wanna join in on vc and stuff but I don’t know how and I don’t wanna sound stupid or say smth and get eaten alive lol. I’ve also been talking to a guy and something I’ve been thinking lately is if he eventually introduces me to some of his friends, most likely via a game, I’m so nervous I won’t be able to keep up with them or be ‘worthy’ if that makes sense. I already feel pretty boring in comparison to him and this is just one more thing to prove it and it just makes me feel inferior and I hate it 🥲

I’m putting together my gaming room and it’s still very much a work in progress. Currently stuck on the chair. I want something comfy for gaming that I actually like looking at too, and I LOVE white and light grey chairs. My desk and PC are both light colored, so that’s where I’m going with the rest of the setup. Still need to pick out some lighting!

Maplestory Classic had its grand launch this week. It’s been a blast playing my fav MMO from the 2000s. However in the space of a couple of days I’ve encountered two creeps. First was partying for a bit, then asked my discord, then he started spamming hearts and pet names, so to the block list he was banished. Tonight I was farming a boss when I got direct messages ‘hello’ and then when I asked who they were they said ‘i’m fine thanks, are you female?’.

I’m a FFXIV veteran so I’ve came across my fair share of creeps but it’s so jarring to see it in what’s essentially a kids game.

I just discovered a new game called The Dust Remembers, and it seems to essentially be a Love and Deepspace but remove the gacha app stuff, and make it single player and 3D!! I know that many girlies here feel the same about having wanted something similar 😭 A huge plus is that the people making this are also apparently anti AI. It is apparently only 2 people so I would temper expectations, but I think it's so cool that it appears our prayers might be answered lol, especially because the actual male characters look just as quality as LADS, from the one I've seen. Let me know what you guys think! I personally hope we can create our own character for this
