🔥 Dungeon Map Scavengers’ Deep – Map 36
The Scavengers’ Deep is a reminder of the amount of work that went into underground structures during the great war. Generally, the elves only built underground when hiding their breeding and research facilities, whereas the forces of the kingdoms, assisted by the dwarves, were constantly building underground as the elves were unrelenting and would completely raze any surface defences that they defeated.
But the structures now known as the Scavengers’ Deep are atypical, an elven complex mixing some (ruined) surface structures, natural caves, and significant sprawling underground complexes dedicated to research, training, and breeding their slave species.
This is the thirty-sixth map in the Scavengers’ Deep series – this map sits directly below Map 30 (released six months ago), and to the right of last month’s Map 35, making the current set of maps a square grid six maps on a side (only 27 maps left to go!).
This section of the Scavengers’ Deep is a large set of workshops where some of the more esoteric elements used by the Elven war machines were produced. Elementals were harnessed to produce materials otherwise impossible in this world and then moulded into the heads of immense weapon systems.
The left side of the area is where the elementals were harnessed, and unstable materials were moved to the next chambers where they were partially stabilized and then moved to the main workshop area to be built into weapon systems. The main workshop has mezzanines on the north and south sides and a walkway over the centre. Between these workshops and the ones on map 30 are a set of rooms that were used by the armaments masters from which they could overlook the various workshops.
This is one of the few sections of the Scavengers’ Deep without inset elements that are above or below the main sections of the map.
Since we have a perfect square of map sections today, I rebuilt the compiled image of the existing 36 maps
The 1200 dpi versions of the map were drawn at a scale of 300 pixels per square and are 14,400 x 14,400 pixels (48 x 48 squares) in size. To use this with a VTT you would need to resize the squares to either 100 pixels (for 5′ squares) or 200 pixels (for the suggested 10′ squares that this is designed around) – so resizing it to either 4,800 x 4,800 or 9,600 x 9,600 pixels in size, respectively.

🙏 Request need help with my battle map
hey so i hope this doesnt sound too strange, but i need help. i started working on my first campaign and the story line itself is going good, i have my themes and rough outlining of every session. but it are those god forsaken battle maps that have me stumped. this would be my first time creating a map of my own and im very much struggling with it, i dont know what details to add for the players to interact with, i dont know how big i should make the wagons(it is a train based dungeon, think of the movie snow piercer), and i jsut dont know how to start in general as i do need a lot of train wagons since its going to be a 8-9 session campaign(i need 32 wagons).
So basically, what i am trying to say is. i need help creating a map or asking for a commission. i hope to hear from someone or get some pointers on how to move forward

🙏 Request Looking for a dnd map making program with good art, shadows and fog of war
Hello,
I'm looking for a good program to create my own D&D maps, especially battle maps, dungeons, forests, and other fantasy environments.
My preferences are:
Hand-painted fantasy artwork, realistic textures, or dark fantasy aesthetics.
Good lighting and shadows to make the maps feel atmospheric.
The ability to create maps myself rather than relying on automatic generation.
A one-time purchase rather than a subscription.
Ideally, support for dynamic lighting and fog of war, so players can explore areas and discover hidden rooms as they move.
Steam is preferred, but I'm fine with buying software elsewhere.
I've been looking at Dungeondraft and like it, but I'd love to hear about alternatives with different art styles.
What software do you recommend, and are there any asset packs you'd suggest for achieving these looks?
Also how does one make the map multiplayer like in the "World of Io - Ioverse"

🌎 World Map The two continents
Two Continents
The continents of Fidena and Naukra share a history spanning millennia. Whether through conflict, agreements, or trade, the two have always been linked by various events that shaped the lives of humans, elves, dwarves, and the Draconics. While the dwarves established their kingdoms within mountain ranges and the elves within their forests, humans and Draconics divided the coastlines and other territories among themselves. A segment of the population from the Draconics' high realm broke away to found a new kingdom on Naukra; it flourished and expanded over the following centuries, giving rise to several cities. Simultaneously, various human dynasties built and expanded their own kingdoms and empires—frequently clashing with one another. Elves and dwarves generally steered clear of human conflicts, focusing instead on their own realms while maintaining open trade. The maritime republics, meanwhile—which saw very little conflict—dedicated themselves to commerce, amassing great wealth and opening their doors to every race inhabiting the land.

🏛️ Building Map Canal Lock Fortress [60x80]
This map is... huge. 60x80, multilevel, with a lot of space for exploration and fight.
There is a classic castle. There is water (with many levels). There is a mystery, with ancient parts of the fortress at the right side of the canal...
And there's also a bit of nature.
All of this is served in three distinct light variants - bright day, picturesque golden hour and dark - but shining with plethora of light sources - night.

✍️ Hand Drawn My first shot at making a dnd city map
I did everything on InfinitePainter lol, there are probably easier ways to do this with assets and such but me and my client ended up enjoying the hand draw aspect of It all.
