Graduation Ticket scams

I like to remind everyone on here to be on the look out for grad ticket scams if the mod here can pin this for future graduates. When I graduated in fall of 2023 a lot of scammers would hit me up to pay them online. Out of safety ask to meet at school to minimize the scam. and have cash in hand I think thats the best way to combat the scam.

Be careful they have a voting table along the coyote walkway near the library.
It has their logo on one of the signs they had.

Is she really that bad? I want to take Trapp because he has the highest reviews but it would be nice to lessen the weight of coming on campus more. She’s the only prof with 2 days a week instead of 3.

art history major question

I plan on transferring to a cal state to get my b.a. in art history and csusb is one of them but I am not sure how good the art history program is. Is anyone apart of it here and would you say it's worth it?

QUICK! I need 2 easy electives

My registration opens up at 1pm and I need 2 more elective classes to be full time so fafsa covers me. I’m a psych major so it can be a psych class or anything that was an easy A!

DROPPING CLASSES...

Does anyone know the limit to dropping classes? I know its past the census date, but Im still struggling with homelessness and a terrible job schedule. Anyone know a way to nearly/give me a good chance of dropping classes? and if i am able to drop them do I still owe the school money? also can I still attend next semester (stupid to ask since I can barely afford but its this or CC)?

Fall 26 graduation- honors

Did anyone attend grad days who has received honors of any kind? I am under the summa cum laude and was wondering if all honors regardless of rank get the same color stoles? Or does each rank get a different set of colors?🎓

Any microwaves on Campus?

Silly question but is there any microwaves on campus? I would really love to not have to eat slightly warm food for lunch and dinner.

CSE 5408 Sustainable Engineer Design

What was this class about? Do you physically build something as a project or is it the same as 5208 where it's just lame fake reports and make believe projects?

I have physics 2510 that interferes with the class time on Mondays and won't be able to attend Mondays often.

I contacted Suyang Wang(since he's the only offered professor) if attendance is mandatory and he gave me a giant nothing burger response.

I'm wondering if there's any reason I HAVE to attend class every single session or not. Thanks!

Frustrated about MCS (Registering for classes)

Even after taking out the max for loans I still have a $1000 balance on my account which will be cleared when my MCS comes through. However, I got a notification on Friday that I won't be able to register for classes this Monday because I have a past due balance. Spring will be my final semester and I'm feeling stressed that I won't get the classes I need for something that's out of my control. I'm sure many others are in the same spot, just wanted to vent because this system is ridiculous.
