I always want to ask with collections this size, how many of these graphic novels have you read? Like what percentage?
I have like 1 of these shelves and I’m still working my way through a couple of the series.

Out of my trade collection, about 70ish percent. There's a lot I have picked up at cons and on sale for cheap that I plan on working through this year.

Very impressive. What shelves are those? Perhaps it's too much to hope that you'd know where I could get shelves like that now?

Built them myself. I had the bookshelves from Walmart, but between then bowing and my basement flooding they fell apart easily. I wanted something that could hold these weight and be a good bit off the floor.
The wood is 2"x10"x8"'s with plywood used as a back. That's the simplest way to describe it.

You’ve been collecting longer than I’ve been alive! Comic book goals and I’m pretty sure you won the best shelfie.

Are we related? I’m in the long slow process of unboxing and shelving my stuff after a move. I’m hoping to be done by April.

This was a multi month process, mainly because the amount of wood I used wasn't cheap, so having the money and finding the time between work and family were the issues. And then I rearranged my basement which meant rearranging the shelves too. Lol.
But I have faith man. You can get all of yours up by April!
