Recently saw the viral post of the amazing fantasy 15 online. We have an original copy on our hands. The front and back covers are attached together but detached from the comic. The internal pages are all intact and in good shape.

If we are looking at selling this, what is the process? Is there any Canadian companies that deal with grading?

Edit: located in Vancouver area. Not opposed to shipping somewhere but also how does a process like that usually look?

Hey guys, so my Infinity Gauntlet issue 1 came back from my meet with Jim Starlin at Terricon! i am ecstatic with the results! a 9.8 with the Thanos custom label, love this!!!

Dropped this off at SDCC this year and got it back last week. I been going since I was 5 to SDCC with my dad. One year maybe in 99, at the marvel booth one of the employees handed me this and she told me to have this man sign it and had me walk up to him in a closed off line. Turns out that man was Stan Lee which 10 year old me didn’t understand who that was.

TLDR got a great memory finally graded and it’s on the wall in my home office now.

Just wondering how long approximately it takes for a CGC in house signing to get sent back? I submitted the book for the Jorge Jimenez signing back in June, and I understand that he didn’t sign until about August? It’s almost November, and I haven’t had any update Other than “in house signing grading.“ Just wondering what in others experiences is the time frame for getting signing event books back.

Bought an 8.5, so I came in with no illusions. But, when the book got here, it’s way cleaner than I expected and I don’t see what drove the grade down. Tried to look up grader notes and they don’t pull up—the site errors out. Website doesn’t appear to be functioning. Anyone know how to find them? Are they being hosted anywhere else?

My favorite thing ever is Resident Evil. Games, books , toys, and comics. Scored this for $138, but after using a Fetch rewards gift card I paid $113. I'm very happy with my first graded comic. But I'm afraid I may have fallen down a new rabbit hole. 😅

CGC was doing free in-person pre-screening at SDCC a couple months ago so I took some books in. Ten books and Shawn Caffrey, VP of Comics Grading himself, said they were all 9.8.

I submitted them when I got home and opted for the pre-screen add-on anyway just in case. Just got them back and six out of ten were rejected. I get different graders grade different, but goddamn, dude.

Recently picked up Amazing Spiderman 300 and 301! I tried to combine two of my favorite hobbies, figures and comics.

A call back to Mighty Thor #380! Sadly my copy of 380 is in bad shape and I didn’t have time to find a better one.

Simonson still got it with one of the nicest sigs in the industry IMO. Also putting the big “O” over the kneepad is a fun touch!

Thoughts on grading this? What grade do you think it will get?

Just curious to know what people’s thoughts are when they get a run with an expensive or a few expensive keys / issues in the middle. Take secret wars for example, don’t really want to slab everything, but then there’s an argument to slab #8 however I kind of want the whole run ungraded (there’s a risk that I pay over the top for 8 for the grade because I have no experience grading). I’d want it in a slab because of its value and presentation reasons going forward.

What are people’s thoughts?

Anyway, I sent it off in June for Jim Lee and Scott Williams to sign after gettint back in March from the Snyder/Dragotta signing, thanfully Jim Lee signed it in gold as requested, Williams went with silver which is cool but I hoped to get both teams in a different color. Got the custom label to go with it too.

Debating if I should risk it to get that 5th signature from Frank Martin, but I'm going to hold off and send it off with pressing some other time in the future. I'm considering sending the ashcan, but I do like being able to Crack it open to look at the initial pages we got as a sneak peek.

I love random villain first appearances, on top of really digging my teeth into collecting during Morrison's time on Batman, this first appearance of Dr Hurt was a book I had to have.

It's in rougher shape, but I only wanted to preserve it, no interest in grade. If I ever get my hands on Demon #7, I'll probably have to grade that one too...
