Hii, one question. I recently bought a second PS5 and it's on firmware 12.60. The thing is, it came with the disc drive separately, and I'd need to make sure everything is working properly because the price I got it for was ridiculously good.

My main PS5 (a FAT model) is already on firmware 14.00, and that's where the dilemma comes in. I don't know whether I should keep that one as my primary console and jb the new one, without even being able to fully verify that it works correctly, since updating would be required to pair the disc drive and test everything properly.

Hi everyone! Has anyone had any chance finding a PS5 Pro in the Ottawa / Gatineau region. I’m going crazy trying to find one. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I was on amazon about 20 minutes ago and I saw PS5 pros available for base price.

I had set auto-buy couple weeks ago, but my auto buy option didn’t purchase it for me.

I tried to buy it manually, but they were already out of stock by that minute.

Any one had that happen to them?

Just drove 750km round trip hahah. Got mine though!

Best tip. Uber eats. Live stock for walmart. Your welcome!

I have a US PSN account, currently living in Canada, if I purchase PSN card from Amazon Canada will the code work when I try to add it to my wallet?

I have been going to US version of Amazon to purchase PSN card there then adding to my wallet but this is tiresome.

Or should I just create a new PSN account and lose all history etc.?

Does anyone have any insider tips on how I can get one? I’ve been trying for the past month with HotStock and I haven’t been getting lucky, I’ve also been visiting Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, etc and nothing. One of the workers at Walmart told me they’re getting them but never told me when.

Anyone in Saskatoon wanting a Ps5 pro today I know where one is.

I recently sold my launch-day PS5 and upgraded to the PS5 Pro with 2TB of internal storage. Loving the console so far and super happy with the upgrade!
My old PS5 had a 2TB Lexar EQ790 expansion SSD, which I’ve since installed in the Pro.

Looking at current used prices, I could probably sell it for $300+ CAD, which has me seriously considering it since I’d nearly double my money.

Now I’m torn between keeping the extra storage or cashing in while SSD prices are high.

For those of you with a PS5 Pro, have you found the built-in 2TB to be enough, or do you regularly run out of space?
What would you do in my situation?

Saw one PS5 Pro at EBgames in Halifax Shopping center yesterday. If anyone is looking for one.

Walked into Best Buy in Vancouver BC and asked if they had any clue when they might have more PS5 Pros available. After staff spent 1-2 minutes talking to each other on their radios the staff member told me

>”There won’t be any more resupplies in Canada this year.”

In my opinion, it’s no real need to upgrade to the ps5 pro. The base model still has great graphics and it’s the same gameplay as its successor. GTA 6 will look amazing on it and I can’t wait to dive in. So don’t let the internet make you spend your savings on a pro when you already have the base model. Have it cleaned and the Liquid Metal replaced if need be. Enjoy gaming! Peace.

Since everyone is on the lookout for one. There are 2 ps5 pro at Athe Walmart at Heartland, Mississauga

Disclaimer: They are only selling these as a bundle, nothing over retail, but it is $1400 of stuff.

Canex has two PS5 Pros in stock that are not listed on their website.

Unfortunately have to update it to buy GTA 6!
Overall, satisfied !

Shipping took 3 business days. As i ordered on Friday at closing time. Received Wednesday.

Digital and Disk Phat ps5 available. Got 2 a couple weeks ago and 1 from their best buy listing a month ago. 3/3 working well so far, no overheating after playing Astro Bot and Ghost of Yotei beauty mode for 1-2hrs.
