Hey everyone! I'll be visiting Cadiz with my husband the second week of November and I hear a lot of places might be closed since it's off-season. It still doesnt turn into ghost-town right? I'd really appreciate any tips you might have, should we be staying in the old-town? Or is there another nearby town you'd suggest? We just wanna chill, have good food and wine, and get a glimpse the Andalusian vibe for 3 days. Thank you so much!

Hey! Vengo de México y estoy haciendo Erasmus en la UCA. Actualmente vivo en Cádiz centro, pero no he tenido mucho tiempo de salir de fiesta o así. Me gustaría que me dieran tips sobre a qué lugares puedo ir o de qué manera me puedo acercar a las chicas para ligar y tener un lío jejeje

Hola a todos! Actualmente no resido en Cádiz aunque soy gaditano de nacimiento, y cada vez que bajo a ver a mi familia la verdad es que me enerva el hecho de no ser tan fácil ver que buses, tren o tranvía vaya a que hora ni que paradas hay ya que en la ciudad que vivo hay una app que te lo da todo de un vistazo.

Por eso he creado una app para eso, es totalmente gratuita y no hace falta internet ya que todos los datos están guardados en el teléfono y he intentado hacerla bonita.

Por ahora no es perfecta y podéis enviar los comentarios y errores a través del símbolo de chat que aparece en cada pantalla arriba a la derecha.

No sé si os servirá pero espero que si! Por ahora solamente está para android, si veo que la gente la usa y le gusta, me plantearé el publicarlo en iPhone.

Podéis también decirme vuestra opinión a través de este hilo y intentaré mejorar o corregir errores de lo que me digáis.

Mi mujer y yo planeamos ir al carnaval este 2027. Nos gusta mucho ver las chirigotas en el COAC y queremos conocer la fiesta de primera mano, pero con respeto y desde el punto de vista de un local. Nos preguntamos si hay grupos de gente de Cádiz a los que podamos unirnos para conocer todo mejor. Gente sana en torno a 40 años que nos pueda explicar la fiesta 😊 gracias!

I'm planning to switch from my regular gym to Genuine Box near the stadium, hoping that group classes will help me socialise outside of work. I tried a free class, but I found the language barrier quite challenging, so I'm not particularly optimistic.

I’ve been traveling around Spain, and Cádiz completely surprised me. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I came here, but after spending time in the city, I’ve really fallen in love with it.
There is something about Cádiz that feels different from the other Spanish towns I’ve visited. I love wandering through the narrow old streets, seeing the beautiful architecture, little plazas, churches, art and so much history everywhere you look.
The Central Market became one of my favorite places. I love seeing the fresh seafood, cheeses, meats, fruits and vegetables and watching local people going about their everyday lives. And of course, the food has been wonderful!
But what has impressed me most are the people. Everyone has been warm and friendly, and the city feels very welcoming. I’m also amazed by how clean and well cared for everything feels.
Even with my foot injury and having to explore much of Cádiz in a wheelchair, I’ve still been able to enjoy the city and experience so much. In some ways, it has made me slow down and notice the little things even more.
We even had religious processions passing right below our Airbnb in Plaza Candelaria — something I never planned or expected to experience. Those are the kinds of moments that make traveling special.
Cádiz may not get the attention that Barcelona, Madrid, Seville or Marbella get, but maybe that’s part of its charm. It feels authentic, historic, relaxed and full of life without trying too hard.
Cádiz, you were an unexpected surprise. ❤️
For those who live here or know Cádiz well: what is one place, restaurant, tradition or experience you think I absolutely shouldn’t miss before I leave?

Hola, me mudé a Cádiz recientemente, suelo tener el pelo largo tipo melena pero fui a un barbero y al final termine decepcionado. No quiero que me pase lo mismo quería saber si me pudieran recomendar barberías / peluquerías que sepan cortar pelo largo y no te hagan el típico Fade de moda.

Tal vez suena raro pero: Llegaré el 27 septiembre la noche a las 23:30 en el Aeropuerto de Sevilla y quisiera ir a Cádiz la misma noche. Hay alguien quien tiene el mismo vuelo y me podría llevar a Cádiz ? Claro que pago el paseo.

Hola! Como dice el título busco información sobre esta persona, concretamente me gustaría averiguar la fecha de nacimiento exacta. He pedido el certificado de nacimiento en el Registro Civil de Arcos de la Frontera y me dicen que si no proporciono la fecha exacta no me lo pueden dar (cuando lo estoy pidiendo para saber la fecha😅).

Sus padres son Francisco Bermúdez Rosado y María de los Dolores Vega Jiménez, la cónyuge, sus hijos y hermanos aparecen en las imágenes, su hija mayor se casó con un estadounidense y emigró al pueblo de él en Estados Unidos, hasta ahí es lo que pude averiguar.

Unos amigos y yo vamos a Cádiz en agosto para una despedida de soltero y estamos buscando recomendaciones de restaurantes para comer con barra libre (sobre todo cerveza).

La idea sería un menú de grupo económico, con comida típica andaluza/tapas y bebidas incluidas durante la comida.

Nos alojaremos en el centro de Cádiz, así que cualquier recomendación por esa zona sería perfecta.
