MAC-V returns to Memory Archives with his next release, the 'Eternal Phaze EP'.

Following his appearance on the label's 'Volume 1: Evolution Genesis' compilation with 'Dissident Waves', the Dutch producer returns with five tracks exploring his own take on atmospheric jungle.

'Eternal Phaze EP' carries a warm and dreamy feel throughout, with chopped breaks and deep subs sitting underneath hazy pads, samples and melodies. Moving between the more introspective moments of 'Clandestine' and 'Wholan', through to the brighter energy of 'Karnataka' and 'Stars Aligned', the EP closes with the spacious title track 'Eternal Phaze'.

Today we’re looking at Intelligent Drum and Bass. Don't let ze name fool you, it doesn't actually make you smart, and honestly, nothing really does. It’s just ze same fast drums from ze nineties, except with some athmosperic synth pad so zey could pretend it was art. If you don’t have something better in mind, and you have not, come with me and we pitch down an Amen break until it feels as exhausted as we do.

TheComplexCurve Guest Mix on Stunna's Green Room Show

Tunnel Vision steps into the darker side of atmospheric Drum & Bass, exploring the deeper, more mysterious sounds that emerged in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Drawing on the darker, more atmospheric sounds of the era, the mix moves between eerie melodies, shadowy rhythms and the distinctive production that gave this period of Drum & Bass its unmistakable character.

The tenth instalment in the Atmospheric Intelligence series takes its cue from the season, drifting through a world of shifting moods, restrained tension and moments of calm. A journey into the darkness, where familiar sounds take on a different character and the light never quite disappears.

I've been sitting on a few bootlegs which have been regular features in my DJ sets the past 18 months, so thought it was time to put some of them out there. As ever, I tend to pick the route less travelled, so first up it's a rework of a track from Aim's awesome third album 'Flight 602' dating from 2006.

I've always been a huge fan of Aim's work and this track was always one I really felt on what is a wonderful album which I still come back to regularly 20 years later. The original is super chill downtempo vibes so it was fun to push the tempo and bring it towards something which can work on both the dancefloor and at home.
