Looking mostly for the BGM tracks and ost exclusives.

Anyone know the reoccurring music, eg ep 797 (1st 1/3rd of ep), 758, 797 so on?

The piece is definitely underrated.

The beginning goes

Fm → Cm → D♭ → A♭

This is a common chord progression, but the resonance of the marimba makes the opening incredibly powerful.

At 1:23, the same chord progression is repeated, but with a different inversion:

The beginning goes

bass F → C minor → A♭

while at 1:23, it goes

F → C minor → A♭

The first one sounds like an excited mind reaching upward, while the later one sounds a little more reflective, as if, despite all the setbacks, they still want to keep moving forward. The combination of soft and loud measures also gives me a feeling of companions supporting each other.

It's such a subtle change, but it's full of emotions.

Also, notice that at 1:44, the melody is a recurrence of "The First Layer"! If you listen carefully, you'll also hear The First Layer appear in the bass at 0:31, with a sound somewhat like a French horn.

The entire piece is basically a self-fugue.

This is absolutely brilliant!

Breezy, cozy Celtic fare. A very underrated soundtrack.

I watched D.Gray Man when I was a kid and there was a scene where the doll was singing alone. The song just stuck to my brain and I remember it every now and then after so many years. When you watched the whole episode so you know the sad backstory so it's different everytime you hear it.

This is a breakdown into how I attempted to translate Grace Omega from Jin-Roh: Wolf Brigade.

Im losing my mind truna figure it out!
