Hello, Im planning to buy airpods max 2 but I sweat a lot (especially in the head) and had experience with sweating alot with my sony 720n's. I wanted to hear out any experience from people that sweats more than the average person and how was your experience with it.

I sweat a lot particularly from the forehead down to sides. Sometimes I notice my jawline becoming sore due to the friction of the sony ear cushions rubbing together with the sweat. I really wanted to buy the airpods max because of the noise cancellation but worried about the sweaty factor of it (smells bad when prolonged and uncomfy feeling when you start sweating).

I contacted apple because im having issues with my airpods max v1 and I told them to run a test amd give me the option of a express replacement and they said rn they are offering the diagnostic only at the apple store it is true?

I'm a robotics student in Madrid, so most of my day is studying on my mac, then scrolling on my phone after (not proud of that part 😅). Most days my neck is just destroyed.

I tried some posture exercises in the past but they barely helped. I couldn't fix the noticing part. I never realized my head was slouched until it already hurt.

Then I found out airpods have motion sensors for spatial audio, and Apple lets apps read the head angle. So I built a small iphone app around it. When my head stays dropped for a few seconds, a little sound plays in my ears, and when I sit up it stops. It even works with the phone locked and music playing. It can also lock apps while I'm slouching, which honestly annoys me in a good way lol. For instance i have it set to tiktok so it gets locked while im slouching and only unlocks when i sit up straight, forcing me to scroll with good posture.

Obviously, it's not a treatment and I'm not a doctor. It only catches the head dropping forward, nothing else, and it's a free beta made by just me. For me it's just about noticing earlier.

For people here who've dealt with neck pain longer than me, does noticing earlier actually benefit you, or is it mostly other stuff? Would honestly love to hear your thoughts.

So, I’ve owned Beats Studio 2 for almost a decade now and while it works great I think it’s time for an upgrade/better sound quality perhaps.
I found some good deals on gently used AirPods Max — i just spent a bunch on college tuition, books, and new electronics for school so a brand new one is not an option.
I found one for a good price, 2023 model and was wondering if it was a good option for an “upgrade”.

Does anybody know where I can buy replacements? Amazon is showing me really inconsistent results with no clear winners. I tried Gemini and it didn’t return anything worthwhile either. Where do you go to find replacement parts for APM 1st gen?

How’s the APM for house chores? Like when you bend over to vacuum under something, or when you wash under something and lean down. Is this a use case for them? I basically only wear airpods for either chores or work, but my ears really don’t like them. Often I end up not listening to something just because I don’t like the in ear feeling.

Hi! I bought very gently used AirPod max (the 1st gen) for $150 in march. I have used them for hours and hours every day with no issues. Loved them! Lately, as of a few days ago, they have been skipping so bad every few seconds when connecting to my MacBook Air. They don’t seem to do this on my phone. Is there anything I can do? It is SO bad that I almost can’t use them.
I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting them, and also removed all other Bluetooth connections from my laptop. Need any suggestions! They’ve been great so far and I really need headphones to study lol

Im running into an issue - I am trying to run with my airpods connected to my applewatch only. I’ll connect them, music will start and about 5-10 seconds later the sound will cut out. Every time.

Ive tried switching my phones connectivity to “when last connected” and all my apple devices to the same, but it still happens. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Ive tried resetting, forgetting, disconnecting etc even including turning my phones bluetooth off, and even the phone fully off.

Just very frustrating when trying to go for a run and not being able to connect without my phone coming with me.

• Migraines & APP3: I often suffer from migraines and headaches, and wearing my AirPods Pro 3 seems to trigger or amplify them. Has anyone experienced something similar and found relief by switching to the APM2?

I’m trying to figure out whether it’s possible to use AirPods Max for PS5 gaming while retaining Apple’s Spatial Audio experience.
I know you can connect HomePods to a TV through an eARC-compatible setup and use them for gaming audio. What I’m wondering is whether there’s any equivalent solution for AirPods Max.

Is there any way to route PS5 audio through an Apple TV or another device that would enable AirPods Max to process the audio with Spatial Audio, similar to how HomePods work in an eARC setup?

I haven’t found a working solution so far, so I’m curious whether anyone has experimented with this or found a workaround.

Issues with my new airpods max
They worked fine for weeks. Eventually, one day, I put them on, and the flat mode button no longer cycled through the various modes (e.g. transparency, adaptive, noise cancelling).
I was able to do this from the settings app, however, only after head detection was turned off. BUT when I did toggle between the various ANC types, nothing changed on the actual headphones.

Appreciate any feedback or suggestions on other accessories people have purchased also. I used their products for my PS5 headsets and they were great just never for Apple products.

I got the second gen airpod maxes a little over a year ago, I believe, but they just disconnect after every use never really used it for the gym nor did I use it exceptionally much since I’m not a big music listener and just watched videos with it. So I just wanted to know if that’s just a me thing or a common issue of the headphones.

I love both devices but I love my MacBook Pro more tbh

I currently use a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4s and I am simply not impressed with them at all for the type of music I listen to. I find it to feel more like a wall of noise and I feel like my AirPod Pros take to this genre better

Does anyone else have an issue with their AirPod Max 2s occasionally randomly de-synchronizing audio between the L/R audio channels for just a split second?

I use my AirPod Max 2s a lot while at home, I’d say maybe up to 2 hours per day, and the glitch happens maybe up to a few times per day of heavy usage. I’ve had it happen both in the Apple Music app as well as while on YouTube, while using Bluetooth connected to Wi-Fi and while my phone is in my hands or my pocket.

I have an iPhone 18 Pro and everything is updated to the latest software update/firmware.

I do have Apple Care for my AirPod Max 2s, but the headphones work great otherwise, so I’m wondering if it’s worth reaching out to Apple Support about.
