I never got the Adult Swim in a Box set back in the day because I had several of the DVDs included, and nowadays the set is way overpriced, but I caught a listing for the Pilots DVD for a -decent- price and had to insta-buy it.

I can finally watch Korgoth of Barbaria as intended: resold by a pawn shop for $30.

It is an animation of (perhaps) a geisha or face painted individual with a masculine voice. theyre walking down the street while crazy shit is happening and singing "Los Angelees, Los Angelees, my heart is in your hand" (they say it like angel-eez) with a bjnch of crazy shit happening around them i think theres a helicopter crash??? i'm pretty damn sure it was an adult swim ad but I promise you Ive been looking since I was like ten years old and nothing comes up. Thank you yall!!

tldr: Los angeleez commercial

One of this weeks bumps is talking about AI researchers making AI smoke cigarettes because they’re confident it will cure cancer, ending it with “And we can’t for their diagnosis”, when it obviously should have said “can’t wait”.

Has this ever happened before? I get mistakes happen but the fact that no one caught this paints a pretty bleak picture of how the network is run these days

I swear I remember this, but I may have just dreamt or imagined it. I was taking a copious amount of drugs at the time.

For those of you who are Three Busy Debras aficionados, which episode has scenes filmed in a library? I heard scenes were filmed in my local library but I haven't been able to find anything online, and I don't have HBO to watch the episodes. It's an old library, lots of wood and high ceilins and windows.

Because I didn't!

Originally posted this on the r/venturebros subreddit, it's one of the pieces im most proud of 🥹

Adult Swim was a huge reason I wanted to move to Atlanta in the first place (maybe even THE reason), and it’s always nice to stop by and see the home of my inspiration.

Also the Adult Swim and You bumpers are some of my faves so I loved that some of them pop up on the billboard.

I tried to cancel an order i placed for the complete series DVD after watching a couple of episodes of S1 and deciding I don't care for it that much. Im deciding if I should keep the DVD and try to endure the rest of the series or just sell it to Half Price Books.

Don't leave without saying rip
