Played 18 out of 24 minutes in the first half and looked fresh, fluid, significantly better conditioned than the summer league.
Almost a double double in the 1st half
12 pts on a perfect 5/5
9 rebounds
3 blocks
3 assists (2 to)
He absolutely dominated 2025 13th overall pick Derik Queen, looking like the significantly better player.
Great defends, very mobile, good timing and awareness.
Passing is great, definitely a wanna-be Jokic/Hart/Jwill and has every ability to be a great passer with good vision and anticipation.
Extremely excited to see him in more normal nba action instead of the silly basketball in summer league that everyone overreacted about.
This kid is exactly what we needed behind Chet and Hart to develop into the future starting 5.
UPDATE
Second preseason game. Running with the starters. 15 on 7/7, 6 rebounds and a block in the first half. Team high +23
Pre-season or not, last night it was against Queen and tonight against a long time above average NBA center in Myles Turner and playing just as well.
Runs the floor great, finishes, gets back on defense, contests, works hard in the paint.
First two halfs of NBAish basketball. 37 minutes (of 48) 27 pts on 12/12 15 rebounds 4 blocks 4 assists +36
If he can look half this good in the regular season he will be the starting 5 next season following a Hartenstein trade (I am a huge Hart fan, would hate to see him go) but as we saw with Dort, Joe and Wigs, that is the life of a championship contending team in the 2nd apron era. 6.1m is alot less than 25m

On top of multiple questionable out of bounds calls.

jdub snapped his left ankle after a wreckless closeout by kris dunn. he apparently sat on his foot on the way down and his left ankle snapped on the process. a tough injury to start the season but they will get through this like they always do. prayers for jalen williams and his family. A sad day for the organization as we all see him work his way back from a lingering hamstring all throughout last season. thunder up everyone.

Hmm. Castle here admits he embellishes contact, that selling calls is part of the game, and that the refs are almost always correct despite players always protesting calls.
So I wonder what the anti-fl*pping brigade will do now. Is foul baiting and fl*pping okay all of a sudden? Or will they accept selling calls are a part of the game, and that professional referees aren't being "tricked" into giving people phantom fouls.

And the reaction from the public was overwhelmingly positive.
As of ~8a today the #12 pick thread on r/nba had ~680 comments. The next most discussed picks were ~380 comments for the Wizards selecting Dybantsa no. 1 and then ~360 for the Lakers selecting Carr at #24 (a pick that also featured a trade between the two biggest markets in the league). The Mara pick was the highest engagement post on the main sub last night beside the draft mega/live thread. The 2nd highest was a random Shai hate thread.
OKC is the center of the basketball universe.

If the Spurs end up beating the big, bad, terrible, unethical, dirty, dangerous, violent, villainous Thunder in this series and save everyone from a dynasty that they’ll be dealing with an even worse dynasty? How long until then do the Spurs become the new Thunder? Obviously there’s no point in trying to reason because what matters is the present and unfortunately the Thunder are the most hated team in the present.

Mark even said back then that they expect a flagrant 2 on those fouls moving forward
